This is a high-impact role that blends hands-on workplace operations with strategic planning, employee experience, hospitality, and event execution. You will set the standard for how our office runs, make it feel welcoming and well-run for every employee and visitor, and help shape how the workplace evolves as the company grows.\nYou will work day-to-day as the owner of the NYC workplace experience, with a clear path to build out a team as the office grows. This is an in-office role, Monday through Friday, with after-hours availability for emergencies and events.\nWhat You’ll Do\nWorkplace Operations and Facilities\nOwn day-to-day operations of the NYC office, ensuring a seamless, well-maintained, and welcoming environment for approximately 200 employees and visitors.\nOversee mail and package services, office supply inventory, equipment maintenance, and conference room logistics.\nManage the daily lunch delivery program and catering partners, ensuring high-quality, reliable service.\nManage relationships with building management, landlords, and external vendors (cleaning, security, catering, maintenance, supplies), including contract negotiation and performance oversight.\nCoordinate IT infrastructure projects with the technology team, including AV systems, conference room setups, and workspace technology.\nEstablish and maintain standard operating procedures for workplace functions, continuously improving service quality and efficiency.\nHospitality and Visitor Experience\nLead hospitality programs for employees and guests, from reception and visitor check-in to meeting-room readiness and welcoming touchpoints across the office.\nMake every employee and guest feel special, from the first hello at reception to the last coffee of the day.\nPlan and manage visiting-team programming, ensuring out-of-town colleagues and guests have a seamless and memorable experience.\nDevelop food and beverage programs (catering, snacks, coffee) that meet diverse dietary needs and create moments of community.\nStrategy and Stakeholder Partnership\nServe as the primary point of contact for workplace-related inquiries and escalations, and act as a trusted advisor to leaders on workplace needs.\nPartner with People/HR, IT, Finance, and executive leadership to align workplace strategy with business objectives.\nLead workplace planning and change management as the office grows, including space planning, workplace enhancements, and organizational changes.\nDefine and track workplace success measures, such as employee satisfaction, service levels, and cost per head, and use them to drive decisions.\nBudget and Financial Management\nOwn and manage multiple budgets, including facilities operations, office supplies, food and beverage programs, events, and capital improvement projects.\nTrack budget vs. actuals monthly, making strategic trade-offs to stay within budget while maintaining high experience standards.\nPrepare quarterly budget reports and forecasts for senior leadership, identifying cost optimization opportunities without sacrificing quality.\nLead vendor procurement, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective sourcing across all workplace services.\nCulture, Events, and Employee Experience\nDesign and deliver a workplace experience strategy that reinforces company culture and strengthens employee connection.\nPlan and execute office events, including all-hands meetings, team celebrations, holiday gatherings, volunteer activities, and visiting-team programming.\nPartner with People/HR on onboarding experiences so new hires feel welcomed from day one.\nChampion wellness, sustainability, and DEI initiatives within the workplace environment.\nPartner with Inclusion Networks and business stakeholders to deliver programs that support employee and business outcomes.\nWhat You Bring\nBachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and 5+ years of experience managing an office, workplace operations, facilities, hospitality, or employee experience, ideally in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with 100+ employees.\nA proactive, “roll-up-your-sleeves” mindset, with comfort handling hands-on work and strategic planning in the same week.\nDemonstrated experience managing multiple budgets (six-figure+), including vendor negotiations, forecasting, and financial reporting.\nStrong project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, complex logistics, and cross-functional stakeholders.\nDeep knowledge of office and facilities operations, including health and safety compliance, space planning, and vendor management.\nExcellent relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of an organization.\nA strategic mindset that connects day-to-day execution to long-term workplace goals.\nProficiency with office and productivity tools (Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, project management platforms, ticketing systems).\nSnack scouting is part of the job. You’re always on the hunt for the next great bag of chips, and you have no problem taste-testing on behalf of 200 hungry colleagues.\nAvailability to respond after hours for emergencies and to support evening and weekend events as needed.\nSalary Range\n$100,000 - $120,000 per year, plus an additional 5% annual bonus contingent on Company performance, and eligible to receive a Restricted Stock Unit (RSU) grant.\nThis is the pay range the Company believes is equitable for this position at the time of this posting.
