You create positive interactions at every stage of the guest journey and foster a sense of community while preparing beverages and providing friendly, efficient service. You partner with your Culinary Experience counterparts to ensure seamless teamwork and exceptional execution.\nYou are an expert in your craft and a go-to resource for all things coffee and beverage related. You take pride in producing high-quality drinks to Impact Kitchen standards, maintaining an organized and spotless workspace, and delivering consistent, world-class guest experiences.\nCOMPENSATION\nBaristas earn $18/hour plus tips ($4-$7/hr on average), paid time off for full-time staff, a substantial discount on Impact Kitchen products, and flexible scheduling to support a healthy, balanced lifestyle.\nTEAM & DEPARTMENT\nBaristas make an impact every day by providing outstanding beverage service and supporting the overall front-of-house operations. Internally, this role is part of the Guest Experience Teamand reports to the Guest Experience Managerand General Managerof each restaurant.\nIn this position, you will collaborate with colleagues at multiple levels of the organization and play an integral part in creating a welcoming and positive guest experience.\nCORE RESPONSIBILITIES\nPrepare all beverages to company standards, including coffee, espresso-based drinks, teas, tonics, smoothies, and wellness drinks.\nDial espresso grinders daily and continually monitor espresso quality.\nMaintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee and smoothie bar throughout service.\nSet up and close down barista and smoothie stations at the start and end of each shift.\nEnsure accurate order entry through the POS system for efficient communication between the bar and kitchen.\nSupport a smooth service by assisting team members across front-of-house positions as needed.\nProvide exceptional hospitality and contribute to a welcoming and community-focused atmosphere.\nParticipate in training and ongoing learning to maintain product and service excellence.\nSKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS\nExcellent communication skills; ability to work effectively and respectfully in a team setting.\nStrong ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.\nExceptional time management and organizational skills.\nPassion for health, wellness, and high-quality food and beverage experiences.\nAbility to stand for extended periods of time.\nAvailability to work days, evenings, and weekends as business requires.\nCommitment of at least 5 days per week and 30-40 hours per week.\nGeneral understanding of food safety and public health practices.\nRequired:Minimum 2 years of barista experience.\nPreferred but not required:Food Handlers Certification.\nINCLUSIVITY AT IMPACT\nImpact Kitchen feeds a diverse community and is made stronger by a diverse team.
