In this role, you will act as a technical leader and subject matter expert (SME), responsible for monitoring, investigating, and responding to complex security incidents while driving operational excellence.\nYou will work closely with customers, internal support teams, Threat Research, Product Development, and Services teams to enhance security operations, improve response processes, and strengthen customer confidence in Thales and Imperva security solutions.\nThe ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with leadership, mentoring, customer management, and process improvement capabilities.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nSecurity Operations & Incident Management\nMonitor and manage daily Security operations, ensuring timely handling escalations, and security incidents.\n\nTake ownership of critical and high-priority customer escalations and provide effective resolution strategies.\n\nAnalyse web traffic, attack patterns, and anomalous activities across customer environments.\n\nAssist with mitigation planning and policy optimization for Cloud WAF, Infrastructure Protection, ABP, ATO, and related security platforms.\n\nActively participate in customer calls to manage escalations and maintain customer confidence.\n\nTechnical Leadership & SME Responsibilities\nSupport cross-functional teams including TAM, Professional Services, Sales Engineers, and Threat Research teams.\n\nLead troubleshooting efforts for complex security incidents\n\nCollaborate with Product Development teams to improve platform capabilities and operational workflows.\n\nParticipate in weekly technical reviews and escalation management meetings.\n\nTraining & Mentorship\nMentor and onboard new Security engineers through structured training and knowledge-sharing sessions.\n\nConduct regular technical workshops and cross-team enablement sessions.\n\nAudit and provide feedback on cases handled by junior engineers.\n\nMaintain and improve internal training materials, documentation, and operational runbooks.\n\nEnable internal stakeholders through product training, traffic profiling guidance, and policy tuning best practices.\n\nProcess Improvement & Automation\nIdentify operational gaps and recommend process improvements, automations, and efficiency initiatives.\n\nDrive projects that improve team productivity, operational scalability, and incident response effectiveness.\n\nContribute to transformation initiatives, automation frameworks, and tooling enhancements.\n\nMaintain and update internal Knowledge Base documentation with relevant technical and operational information.\n\nCustomer & Stakeholder Engagement\nBuild strong relationships with strategic and high-priority customers within the assigned region.\n\nAssist Services and Support teams during major incidents and escalations.\n\nProvide actionable insights and recommendations to improve customer security configurations and operational outcomes.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).\n\nMinimum 4+ years of experience in Security Operations, Incident Response, SOC Engineering, or related cybersecurity roles.\n\nStrong understanding of web application security, cloud security, and network security fundamentals.\n\nHands-on experience with web technologies and protocols including HTTP/S, SSL/TLS, DNS, TCP/IP, REST APIs, JSON, and JavaScript.\n\nExperience analyzing security incidents, traffic behavior, and attack mitigation techniques.\n\nStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage technical customer interactions.\n\nPreferred Technical Skills\nExperience with Imperva or similar Cloud Application Security/WAF platforms.\n\nFamiliarity with AWS, Azure, or multi-cloud security environments.\n\nKnowledge of Kubernetes, containers, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).\n\nUnderstanding of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and web attack vectors.\n\nExperience with scripting or automation tools such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.\n\nExposure to SIEM, SOAR, and security automation technologies.\n\nExperience creating dashboards and analytical reports using Power
