In this position, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and tools that enable our engineering teams to deliver high-quality products quickly and efficiently. You will work closely with software, innovation, and silicon teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications and will play a key role in driving the adoption and improvement of DevOps practices across the organization.\nWhat You Will Do:\nDesign, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure using cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)\nDevelop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Enterprise to automate build, test, and deployment processes\nManage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure, using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC)\nAdminister and maintain JFrog Artifactory for artifact storage and dependency management\nImplement configuration management and automation using Ansible\nDevelop and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions using Datadog\nWrite and maintain scripts and automation tools in Python for operational efficiency\nCollaborate with development teams to streamline deployments and improve release processes\nMonitor and optimize system performance, reliability, security, and compliance across all environments\nProvide mentorship and technical guidance to other DevOps engineers\nStay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement.\nWhat You Will Bring:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field\n8+ years of experience in DevOps, software development, or systems engineering\nStrong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)\nProficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell)\nExperience with configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible, Chef, Puppet)\nFamiliarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)\nExperience optimizing and managing GitHub and Artifactory deployments\nExperience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)\nExperience with virtualization platforms (e.g. VMware ESXi / vSphere)\nKnowledge of networking, security best practices, and cloud architecture\nKnowledge of HashiCorp Vault for secrets management\nStrong problem-solving abilities and comfort working in dynamic, evolving environments\nGood understanding of the software development lifecycle, structured project management, collaborative coding practices (such as code reviews and pair programming), and continuous improvement of code quality\nStrong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to teammates and non-technical stakeholders\nCompensation & Benefits:\nThe benefits listed below may vary depending on the nature of your employment with Impinj and the country where you work.\nThe typical base pay range for this role across the US is $136,000- $204,000. Individual base pay depends on various factors such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties, requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Both market wage data and the mid-point of the pay range is reviewed and used as the starting point for all new hire offers. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.\nAt Impinj certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
