This position will be part of the dynamic team based at Ngezi Concentrator Engineering reporting to the Foreman - Mechanical.

JOB TITLE - Artisan Class 1 Fitter
JOB GRADING - C4
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Apprentice trained Class 1 Fitter
- 5 'O' level passes including Mathematics, English and Science
- A recognised technical qualification in mechanical engineering preferably National Certificate. An HND/ND or City and Guilds would be an added advantage
- 5 years' post-apprenticeship experience in maintenance of mining processing equipment in a heavy engineering environment
- Knowledge of planned, preventative maintenance systems
- Familiarity with Zimplats Management System and SAP will be added advantages
CORE COMPETENCIES:
- A self-starter with excellent interpersonal, planning and problem-solving skills
- Supervision experience is a must
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Carrying out routine and scheduled maintenance work
- Maintaining all plant machinery and equipment
- Providing supervision and enforcing standards as per statutory requirements and standard work procedures
- Supporting and implementing the Business Management System (BMS)
