Kubernetes clusters, building and configuring new cluster environments, developing Kubernetes Operators, and driving platform automation using modern cloud-native technologies.\n\nThe current platform is based on Gardener, although prior Gardener experience is not mandatory.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nScale, enhance, and optimize existing Kubernetes cluster environments\n\nDesign, build, and configure new Kubernetes clusters\n\nDevelop and maintain Kubernetes Operators and Custom Controllers using Go and Kubebuilder\n\nImplement and improve platform automation capabilities\n\nAutomate infrastructure and platform lifecycle processes\n\nApply GitOps principles for deployment, configuration management, and operational consistency\n\nDesign and implement GitOps workflows using FluxCD\n\nWork with Crossplane for infrastructure and platform automation\n\nPerform testing, validation, and reliability improvements across the Kubernetes platform\n\nContribute to the continuous evolution of cloud-native platform engineering practices\n\nCollaborate with an international, English-speaking engineering team\n\nRequirements\n\nStrong hands-on experience with Kubernetes in enterprise-scale environments\n\nExperience operating and scaling large Kubernetes cluster landscapes\n\nStrong proficiency in Go (Golang)\n\nHands-on experience with Kubebuilder\n\nProven experience developing Kubernetes Operators and Custom Controllers\n\nStrong understanding of GitOps methodologies\n\nHands-on experience with FluxCD\n\nExperience with Crossplane\n\nStrong background in Platform Engineering and Platform Automation\n\nFluent English communication skills\n\nNice to Have\n\nExperience with Gardener\n\nExperience with SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP)\n\nPublic cloud
