We're looking for people who can design, build, and optimize ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, Service Catalog, and custom applications, and who are comfortable working directly with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions. Depending on experience, candidates may be considered for a developer or architect-level role.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, test, and deploy ServiceNow configurations, custom applications, and automated workflows\nBuild advanced Service Catalog items, including catalog client scripts, UI policies, and Flow Designer automations\nSupport ongoing improvements and optimization of core ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge Management)\nDesign and implement integrations with third-party systems using REST/SOAP web services and IntegrationHub\nParticipate in client calls and technical design discussions, translating business requirements into clear, actionable solutions\nExecute unit, integration, and regression testing to ensure high-quality, zero-defect deployments\nMaintain update sets, release documentation, and technical design records\nMentor developers and promote ServiceNow best practices across the team (architect-level)\nOversee release management, peer reviews, and governance/compliance checks (architect-level)\nIdentify risks, dependencies, and design gaps early in the development lifecycle\nRequired Qualifications\nHands-on experience developing and configuring on the ServiceNow platform (5+ years for Developer; 8+ years including lead or architect-level experience for Architect)\nServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)\nAt least one Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification - ITSM preferred\nStrong scripting ability (server-side and client-side JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Script Includes)\nExperience building Service Catalog items, workflows, and integrations\nFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum development environments\nStrong communication skills and the ability to work across technical and functional teams\nActive Top Secret clearance, or willingness to be sponsored/upgraded to Top Secret\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrior experience in federal or defense contracting environments\nExperience with release coordination, version control, and automated testing strategies\nHands-on proficiency with the ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF)\nFor senior/architect candidates: experience mentoring developers and representing technical solutions in client-facing discussions\nWhy Improvix\nAt Improvix Technologies, we don’t just deliver IT solutions - we deliver mission success.
