Impulse is building an exceptional team, and this position is a growth opportunity open to high performers of any experience level above the basic qualifications.\nResponsibilities\nBuild, organize, & manage schedules for integrating multiple payloads onto Helios vehicles\nManage payload requirements and work with Integration to implement & verify completion\nPlan multiple launch campaigns per year across different launch facilities and launch providers\nExecute critical system-level testing, working directly with subsystem level owners\nProvide innovative solutions to problems while operating with a high degree of autonomy\nWork and communicate effectively at a technical level with numerous teams across propulsion, avionics, structures, software, test, and manufacturing\n\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, materials engineering, or other engineering discipline\n5+ years of experience integrating, designing, launching, and/or building spacecraft/launch vehicles\nWillingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by operations and support occasional travel \n\nPreferred Skills and Experience\n8+ years of experience integrating, designing, launching, and/or building spacecraft/launch vehicles\nExperience launching spacecraft on multiple different launch vehicles and rideshare missions\nExcellent written and oral communication, especially translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences\nAbility to work in a fast paced, autonomously driven, and demanding atmosphere\n\nAdditional Information:\nCompensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity. In addition to base salary, for full-time hires, you may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of stock options, and access to medical, vision & dental coverage as well as access to a 401(k) retirement plan.\nImpulse Space’s spacecraft manufacturing business is subject to U.S. export regulations including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
