This is a critical hands-on role responsible for keeping our manufacturing facility operating efficiently and safely. If you have strong technical expertise in HVAC, mechanical systems, and building maintenance, we want to hear from you!\nKey Responsibilities:\nCoordinate with outside third-party vendors and specialized contractors for routine and specialized repairs.\nOversee routine vendor-maintained systems to include industrial chillers, air compressors, fire suppression, facility HVAC, to ensure service contract obligations are met. \nOversee building upkeep duties including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall, locksmithing, door/dock, commercial roofing, and lighting. \nPerform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, and ensure timely repair of air conditioning, heating (HVAC) systems.\nEnsure air compressors and associated equipment are maintained\nEnsure chilled water systems and variable frequency drive (VFD) pumps are maintained.\nCoordinate the testing, inspection, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems and related fire protection equipment.\nOversee service and monitor alarm systems (fire, security, and building automation).\nOversee contractors for general grounds maintenance and exterior upkeep.\nComplete scheduled preventive maintenance programs and maintain accurate maintenance records.\nRespond promptly to maintenance emergencies and work orders.\nEnsure compliance with all safety regulations, codes, and environmental requirements.\nQualifications & Requirements:\n3+ years of proven experience in facility maintenance, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting\nStrong knowledge of HVAC systems, air compressors, chilled water plants, and VFD-controlled pumps\nExperience with fire sprinkler systems and alarm systems is a strong plus\nWorking knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, and general building maintenance\nComfortable with the operation of boom and scissor lifts (certification a plus)\nAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals\nValid driver’s license with a clean driving record\nMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, and perform duties in various weather conditions\nExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail\nAvailability for occasional after-hours emergency response\nWork Environment/Physical Demands: The Facility Maintenance Coordinator works in a climate-controlled environment.
