You will work closely with frontend engineers, DevOps professionals, and cloud architects to ensure a seamless and efficient development process. You should also be a strong technical mentor, supporting and guiding colleagues to help the team grow.\nDesign, develop, and implement backend APIs using secure and efficient programming languages and frameworks.\nMigrate and manage cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS.\nAutomate backend deployments and infrastructure provisioning using infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform.\nOptimize cloud resource utilization for cost-effectiveness and scalability.\nImplement robust security measures to protect applications and data in the cloud (OWASP).\nTroubleshoot and debug complex backend issues.\nStay up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations in cloud technologies.\nUse AI tools (e.g., Claude, Codex, etc) in your development workflow to enhance code writing, support code reviews, and improve productivity.\nAct as a mentor for colleagues, providing guidance, support, and knowledge sharing to help the team grow.\nWho you are \nExcellent knowledge of TypeScript (5+ years of experience).\nProven experience working with cloud platforms like AWS.\nExperience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.\nGood knowledge of authentication technologies, including OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SAML.\nStrong knowledge of database technologies, both relational and NoSQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).\nGood understanding of messaging and broker systems (Pub/Sub, RabbitMQ, Kafka, SNS, SQS).\nSolid understanding of security concepts and best practices (OWASP).\nFamiliarity with DevOps practices, including infrastructure-as-code, observability, and CI/CD.\nGood understanding of quality engineering practices.\nExcellent problem-solving and debugging skills.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills.\nPassion for building high-quality, scalable, and secure software.\nUse AI tools (e.g., Claude, Codex, etc) to support your daily development work and improve code quality.\nKnowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) is an asset.\nYou communicate fluently in English.\nWhat we offer \nJoining In The Pocket means becoming part of a team that shapes the future of our clients’ businesses across Europe.
