Design & Configuration Leadership\nReview and guide configuration done by the team.\nTake decisions on:\nWage type modeling\nPay scale structures\nTime schemas/PCR decisions\nPayroll schema modifications\nOM/PA design\nPayroll Control center \nEnsure proper integration across PA → OM → Time → Payroll → FI.\n3. Integration + Technical Coordination+ Data replication\nConfigure EC to ECP replication (BIB/P2P/ CPI)\nHandle infotype replication and mapping\nABAP team → enhancements, user exits\nFI team → Payroll posting\nSecurity → Roles & authorizations\nBasis → Transport management\n4. Testing Management\nDrive UT, SIT, UAT planning.\nCreate and review test scenarios.\nEnsure defect tracking, retesting, and closure.\nEnsure monthly/year-end testing for payroll calendars.\n5. Cutover & Migration (ECC → S/4HANA or Go-live)\nDefine cutover plan for HCM data:\nOM\nPA\nTime data\nPayroll clusters\nManage simplification checklists (S/4HANA).\nValidate migration loads using LSMW/BAPI or any other tools\nExecute go-live readiness checks.\n6. Compliance & Statutory Requirements\nEnsure compliance for PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, Income Tax, etc.\nValidate periodic statutory changes (India/South Africa/other payrolls).\n7. Governance & Stakeholder Communication\nConduct weekly steering committee meetings.\nHighlight risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans.\nReport milestone status to management.\n8. Continuous Improvement\nIdentify automation areas (HR Forms, workflows, analytics).\nRecommend new SAP features (Fiori apps for HCM, HR Renewal, ESS/MSS).\n9.
