This onsite role in North Reading, MA supports the development of new technologies and products in robotics and automation, with a strong emphasis on test bench design, instrumentation, data acquisition, data processing, and engineering analysis. The ideal candidate will transform raw measurement data into clear, actionable engineering insights that drive product and design decisions.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop and execute test programs, test plans, and test methods for complex hardware/software systems.\nIdentify appropriate test plans, methodologies, and equipment based on different stages of product development.\nDevelop functional specifications, Design Verification Plans (DVPs), and functional test procedures.\nDevelop test strategies for complex hardware/software systems and systems of systems.\nDesign, commission, and operate test benches for robotic and electromechanical systems.\nTest and validate systems involving actuators, batteries, sensors, cameras, and other electromechanical components.\nPerform subsystem verification and complete system verification and validation testing.\nSelect and configure appropriate instrumentation and laboratory equipment.\nAcquire, process, and analyze test data to determine system performance metrics.\nCreate detailed test reports comparing test results against specifications and requirements.\nTranslate test data into actionable engineering insights and recommendations.\nFeed test results back into the product design and development cycle.\nSupport new technology and product development programs from concept through validation.\nCollaborate with engineers across electrical, mechanical, software, systems, and other disciplines.\nIdentify and resolve technical issues encountered during testing.\nDevelop practical test solutions in a high-ambiguity environment where requirements may evolve throughout the development lifecycle.\nKey Qualifications\nExperience developing functional specifications, Design Verification Plans (DVPs), and functional test procedures.\nExperience developing test strategies and plans for complex hardware/software systems or systems of systems.\nExperience developing and executing tests in a high-ambiguity, fast-evolving development environment.\nStrong understanding of hardware verification and validation methodologies.\nExperience with test bench development and operation.\nExperience with instrumentation, data acquisition, and test data analysis.\nAbility to interpret test results and communicate engineering findings effectively.\nUS Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card) required;
