You will work closely with senior database administrators, system engineers, and software development teams to ensure high availability, optimal performance, and reliability of mission-critical databases.\nEmployment Type: Full-time employment\nResponsibilities\nDatabase Operations & Maintenance\nAssist in the installation, configuration, and upgrading of Oracle Database software and related products.\nPerform routine database maintenance tasks, including space management, user creation, and privilege management.\nMonitor database storage, performance metrics, and resource utilization using standard monitoring tools.\nBackup & Recovery\nAssist in executing and verifying daily, weekly, and monthly database backup and recovery strategies using RMAN (Recovery Manager).\nSupport data restoration drills and cloning activities for development, testing, and staging environments.\nTroubleshooting & Performance Support\nHelp troubleshoot routine database alerts, connectivity issues, and operational bottlenecks.\nWrite, review, and optimize basic SQL queries and PL/SQL blocks in coordination with development teams.\nDocument recurring issues and assist in updating standard operating procedures (SOPs).\nSecurity & Compliance\nImplement and maintain database security policies, user access controls, and auditing parameters under the guidance of senior staff.\nEnsure adherence to corporate data compliance frameworks and regular patch updates.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.\n1-3 years of hands-on experience in managing or supporting relational databases, with a strong focus on Oracle Database (19c / 21c / 11g).\nFundamental understanding of Oracle Database Architecture (SGA, PGA, Tablespaces, Redo Logs).\nWorking knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.\nFamiliarity with Linux/Unix shell scripting and Windows environments.\nBasic understanding of Oracle backup/recovery concepts (RMAN).\nCertifications: Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) or Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) is a strong plus.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nGood communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate smoothly with on-site cross-functional teams.\nReadiness to participate in rotating shift schedules or on-call support if required by business operations.\nEqual Opportunity & Inclusion\nWe are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
