The Deep Transformation through Community Engagement (DTCE) initiative empowers young people to lead the fight against gender-based violence, utilizing tools to shape public narratives and promote equality, dignity, and justice.\nKey Responsibilities:\nPlan, implement, and manage the budget for activities as per the assigned PIP at the block level;\nCoordinate with block-level officials from Health, Education, PRI, Social Welfare, Probation, etc., to ensure smooth program delivery and consistent support;\nParticipate in TKTmock and practice sessions and facilitate TKTsessions (as per assigned chapters) in schools and communities;\nEngage key stakeholders at the block and village levels to ensure the achievement of program deliverables and the execution of community-level activities;\nCollaborate with existing networks/alliances/SHGs to increase service demand and amplify collective voices for adolescent empowerment and a gender-sensitive society;\nPlan, execute, and monitor training and capacity-building activities as per the assigned capacity-building calendar/plans and follow up through established mechanisms;\nSupport and facilitate joint planning and field visits with the District Lead;\nSubmit daily and monthly reports to the District Lead based on predetermined objectives for the month/year;\nPrepare monthly and daily activity plans with the block team, ensuring alignment with project objectives, the PIP, and the Taron Ki ToliCurriculum;\nLiaise and network with block-level and village-level stakeholders-panchayat members, government officials from Health, ICDS, Education, and other departments-to secure their support for program activities;\nAssist in day-to-day reporting, use of MIS, and collection of necessary field data;\nIdentify and document good case studies from the field regularly.\nSpecific Knowledge, Skill & Experience Required:\n3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in gender equity, adolescent empowerment, or community development initiatives with Bachelor’s degree in a related field. However, candidates with a Master’s degree will be given preference.\nStrong team management skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams effectively.\nResult-oriented with excellent multi-tasking and organizational abilities.\nWillingness to travel frequently as per program requirements.\nStrong documentation and reporting skills.\nExcellent facilitation, communication (English and Hindi both), interpersonal, and networking abilities to effectively engage with external stakeholders, including families, PRI members, FLWs, and various government departments.\nExperience in data management, analysis, and interpretation for informed decision-making.\nBudgeting and financial management skills, including planning, monitoring, and reporting expenditures.\nProven experience in facilitating sessions in schools and community settings, particularly with adolescents and youth.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with MIS tools.\nAbout Breakthrough:\nBreakthrough works on culture change by shifting social norms that limit women and girls from reaching their full potential.
