The person will be responsible for the capacity building of Community Developers(CDs) for upgrading the quality of delivery of training curriculum.\nKey Responsibilities:\nQuality of training programs\nCapacity & Leadership Development of the CDs to ensure quality delivery of training curriculum.\nClosely monitor the implementation of training curriculum on the field by CDs, assess gaps and develop capacity building initiatives to address them.\nDemonstrate and facilitate mock sessions of curriculum with CDs on a fortnightly basis.\nHandholding of the CDs to develop effective strategies for quality training delivery.\nAssess and develop the facilitation skills of the implementation trainers/staff on state level.\nCapacity Building of stakeholders\nEnsure proper & timely orientation of team members, guests, visitors & vendors on Child Safeguarding Policy & Breakthrough culture & values.\nOrganize/ manage/ conduct/ facilitate different training programs like training of adolescents/ youth, NGOs, training of CBOs, SHGs, ASHA, Anganwadi workers as and when needed.\nOrganize and manage different sensitization / planning/ integrating/ strategic workshops from time to time at block/District level.\nFacilitate sessions at block level for government service delivery and access, and compliance of laws.\nOthers\nParticipate in effective planning and monthly reporting to the project lead.\nReporting on a monthly basis on outputs of the project\nHelping in documentation of project outcomes\nPerform any other program related tasks assigned from time to time\nContributing to all other aspects of Breakthrough’s work as per requirement.\nSkills and Competencies:\nConceptual clarity on gender and discrimination, violence against women and girls, sexuality, menstrual health, and hygiene in the context of youth.\nAbility to facilitate fun, informative and interactive sessions with children and adolescent girls, community on various aspect of gender and developmental issues, sexuality, adolescent rights etc.\nParticipatory training and facilitation skills, facilitation of focus group discussions and presentation skills\nAbility to design content and develop training modules based on training needs of the participants\nUnderstanding of communication strategy and ability to translate key messages into actions\nStrong networking and presentation skills\nAccurate with strong attention to detail\nAbility to travel frequently to remote villages and work independently\nMust possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in Hindi and English, knowledge of local dialects is an advantage\nSkills in street theatre, forum theatre, song writing, storytelling, singing, creating comic books etc. would be an added advantage\nQualification and Experience:\nBachelors in Social Work/ Masters in Social Work/ Post Graduate in Sociology/ Psychology\n5 -10 years’ experience of working with community organisations, NGO’s etc\nMinimum 3-5 years’ experience – facilitating workshops for youth in school and community based programmes on gender based discrimination, menstrual health and hygiene.\nAbout Breakthrough:\nBreakthrough was founded in 1999, with a mission to make violence and discrimination against women and girls unacceptable.
