This role is critical in ensuring Incard can ship fast without compromising correctness, especially in a regulated fintech environment.\nThis role is ideal for someone who sees QA as engineering, not validation and who enjoys building frameworks, tooling, and quality systems that teams trust.\nWhat You’ll Do\nOwn QA Automation End-to-End\nDesign, build, and maintain Incard’s automation testing strategy\n\nOwn test coverage across backend APIs, frontend, mobile, and integrations\n\nTreat test automation as first-class infrastructure\n\nAutomation Frameworks & Tooling\nBuild and maintain automated test frameworks for:\nAPI and backend services\n\nWeb applications\n\nMobile applications\n\nIntegrations with external providers (banks, PSPs, partners)\n\nEnsure tests are reliable, fast, maintainable, and easy to extend\n\nCI/CD & Release Quality\nIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines\n\nEnforce quality gates before releases\n\nReduce regressions and production incidents through automation\n\nQuality Strategy & Coverage\nDefine test strategies across unit, integration, E2E, and regression testing\n\nIdentify high-risk areas and design automation around critical flows\n\nEnsure strong coverage for money movement, cards, analytics, and workflows\n\nCollaboration & Enablement\nWork closely with Backend, Frontend, Mobile, and Product teams\n\nHelp engineers write testable code and improve testability\n\nParticipate in design reviews to anticipate edge cases and failure modes\n\nReliability & Continuous Improvement\nMonitor flaky tests and improve reliability\n\nContinuously improve test execution speed and signal quality\n\nContribute to post-incident analysis with a quality lens\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n5+ years of experience in QA Automation or Software Engineering in Test\n\nStrong experience building automation frameworks from scratch\n\nSolid understanding of API testing, integration testing, and E2E testing\n\nExperience testing distributed systems and asynchronous workflows\n\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated release processes\n\nStrong understanding of software quality principles and risk-based testing\n\nClear communicator who collaborates effectively with engineering teams\n\nNice to Have\nExperience testing fintech, payments, or other regulated systems\n\nExperience with mobile automation (iOS / Android)\n\nFamiliarity with performance or load testing\n\nExperience testing event-driven or workflow-based systems\n\nMindset We Look For\nQuality-as-a-product mindset -
