All engineers are expected to have strong communication skills and should be able to share knowledge with their teammates clearly and concisely.\nAbout the role\nWe are looking for an exceptional Lead Engineer to lead the major re-architecture of our payments service, which will process billions of dollars each month.\nAs the technical leader, you’ll be instrumental in shaping the architecture and execution of the next generation of our payments service. Your expertise in distributed systems, secure transactions, and high-availability architectures will be essential in building a robust, scalable payments infrastructure.\nWhat you'll do\nDesign and implement core components for a high-scale, low-latency payments platform.\n\nIntegrate new banking partners and payment providers, building reliable and maintainable connectivity across multiple rails.\n\nWork across FX, Payment Rails, Peer-to-Peer, and internal flow-of-funds services to deliver seamless payment experiences.\n\nContribute to new product capabilities including Stablecoin Orchestration, Flex Card, and Invoice Financing.\n\nLead technical decisions related to architecture, scalability, security, and reliability.\n\nCollaborate with engineering, product, compliance, and infrastructure teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.\n\nDefine and maintain high engineering standards, including best practices for testing, monitoring, and continuous deployment.\n\nProactively identify and address technical risks in a complex, regulated environment.\n\nDevelop comprehensive fraud protection mechanisms that provide robust controls for prevention, detection, and mitigation of
