Overview : \n\nWe are looking for an experienced Drupal Architect to design, develop, and lead scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise web applications and content management solutions.\n\nThe ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Drupal architecture, PHP, custom module development, system integrations, and cloud-based deployments, along with the ability to lead technical teams and engage with business stakeholders.\n\nKey Responsibilities : \n\n- Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance Drupal-based enterprise solutions.\n\n- Define end-to-end technical architecture, solution design, coding standards, and development best practices.\n\n- Lead Drupal development, including custom module development, theme development, configuration management, and third-party integrations.\n\n- Design and manage Drupal multisite implementations and content management platforms.\n\n- Drive Drupal upgrades, platform modernization, migration, and performance optimization initiatives.\n\n- Develop and integrate REST APIs and other services with enterprise applications.\n\n- Collaborate with UI/UX, frontend, backend, QA, DevOps, and business teams to deliver quality solutions.\n\n- Implement security best practices, caching strategies, database optimization, and application performance improvements.\n\n- Oversee code reviews, technical documentation, deployment planning, and production issue resolution.\n\n- Mentor developers and provide technical guidance throughout the software development lifecycle.\n\nMandatory Skills : \n\n- 10 - 12 years of overall IT experience, with strong hands-on experience in Drupal development and architecture.\n\n- Expertise in Drupal 9/10, with exposure to Drupal 11 preferred.\n\n- Strong proficiency in PHP, object-oriented programming, and Symfony components.\n\n- Experience in Drupal custom module development, theming, hooks, plugins, and APIs.\n\n- Strong knowledge of Drupal architecture, content types, entities, Views, configuration management, and Composer.\n\n- Experience with REST APIs, third-party integrations, and enterprise application integration.\n\n- Good understanding of MySQL or PostgreSQL, database design, indexing, and query optimization.\n\n- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and automated testing.\n\n- Strong understanding of application security, scalability, caching, and performance tuning.\n\n- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.\n\nGood-to-Have Skills : \n\n- Experience with Acquia Cloud, Acquia Site Factory, or other enterprise Drupal hosting platforms.\n\n- Exposure to AWS or Azure cloud environments.\n\n- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation.\n\n- Knowledge of Redis, Varnish, Elasticsearch, or Apache Solr.\n\n- Experience with headless or decoupled Drupal using JSON or GraphQL.\n\n- Exposure to React.js, Angular, or other modern frontend technologies.\n\n- Experience with Drupal 7-to-10/11 migration and modernization projects.\n\n- Acquia Drupal certifications.\n\nEducation : \n\n- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.\n\nKey Competencies : \n\n- Solution architecture and technical decision-making\n\n-
