In this role, you will diagnose, repair, service, and maintain aerial work platform equipment and other diesel and gas-powered heavy equipment both in the workshop and at customer job sites.\nIf you enjoy solving technical challenges, working with engines, hydraulics, and electronic systems, and delivering quality service to customers-we’d love to hear from you.\nWhat you’ll do\nDiagnose, troubleshoot, and repair aerial work platform equipment and other diesel and gas-powered heavy equipment in the workshop or field\nInspect equipment, identify the cause of mechanical failures, and determine required replacement parts\nPerform overhauls, repairs, and calibrations on engines, ignition systems, steering and control systems, lift cylinders, and valve systems\nRepair and rebuild hydraulic pumps, cylinders, control modules, and sensors\nPerform instrumentation repair, valve adjustments, grinding, seating, and related mechanical repairs\nRepair electronically controlled devices and systems on aerial work platforms and other heavy equipment\nUse a wide range of testing equipment and shop tools for diagnostics, troubleshooting, and calibration\nOverhaul exhaust systems and repair exhaust after-treatment systems when applicable\nPerform emergency field repairs as needed\nComplete preventative maintenance, servicing, tire changes, and routine repairs\nAccurately complete work orders and timecards daily\nComplete jobs within quoted labor hours and maintain productivity standards\nMaintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop and service truck if assigned\nProperly maintain company tool inventory\nProvide professional and responsive customer service to clients\nAbout you\n\nTechnical or trade school certification in mechanical services or related field preferred\nTwo to three years of experience in the maintenance and servicing of aerial work platform equipment or other heavy equipment preferred\nExperience with diesel and gas-powered equipment, hydraulics, engines, and electronically controlled systems\nStrong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills\nValid driver’s license required\nAbility to obtain DBIDS/Rapid Gate base access\nMust provide basic personal tools required for the role, with additional required tools within twelve months of employment\nReliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented\nWhat We Offer\n Paid Time Off (PTO) - Paid Time Off is available after completion of the introductory period to support rest, work-life balance, and personal needs.\nHealth and Life Insurance - Access to company-sponsored medical and life insurance benefits in accordance with plan eligibility and enrollment guidelines.\nRetirement Savings Plan - Eligibility to participate in the company’s retirement plan with a company match, subject to plan terms and conditions.\nEmployee Discount Program - Eligible employees may receive discounts on company products and services in line with company policy.\nFuel Discount - Access to fuel discount programs in accordance with partner or provider terms.\nAdditional Leave Benefits - Other leave benefits may include paid maternity, paternity, bereavement, and jury duty leave, in accordance with company policy and applicable laws.\nAnnual Salary Reviews - Compensation is reviewed annually based on performance, role responsibilities, and overall business results.\nTraining & Professional Travel - Opportunities for training, professional development, and potential business travel to support continuous learning dependent on the role.\nStart your journey\nIf you’re excited about this role but don’t meet every requirement, we still encourage you to apply.
