With lots of interesting opportunities and challenges for you to explore that will take us, and your progression, to the next level.\nOur Toyota Customer Experience team is seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant to join our Finance team in our headquarters in Athens, Greece.\nWhat You'll Do:\nReview supplier invoices ensuring the completeness of required documents.\nPerform required audit and verify the validity of invoice and vendor before processing\n2 /3-way match invoices/credit notes to Purchase Orders and Goods received\nPost invoices and credit notes received by suppliers\nResolve discrepancies between departments and suppliers, such as differences in the receipt of goods and services.\nProcess and check expense claims, including checking calculations and ensuring proper documentation and approvals are available, escalating internally to a team leader if required\nEnsure suppliers’ reconciliation is performed in a timely manner aiming accounts are maintained up to date\nPrepare Payment Proposals, analyze proposals for all business units, and prepare batch files for all business entities\nPrepare supplier payments according to the agreed terms and schedule in the bank platforms and ensure payments are processed accurately and on time.\nLiaise with business/approver to ensure timeline approval of invoices to be ready for payment.\nFull Accountability and ownership of investigating and resolving internal/external Customer / Supplier issues\nAssist with financial and tax audits\nRegularly review and audit transactions to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.\nProactive housekeeping e.g. payments on account and aged balances\nProcess financial accruals and reversals - maintain and update the central journal for accruals\nAbout you\n2-3 years of relevant working experience\nSolid knowledge of Greek Accounting Standards\nVery good knowledge of MS Office\nGood command of English language\nAnalytical & communication skills\nAttention to detail\nExperience in accounting software programs (SAP, Concur, Basware, Coupa) is an asset\nWe Offer You\n At Inchcape, we’re shaping the future of mobility, and you’re invited to shape it with us.
