This role is 100% onsite in Lund.\nDescription\nA Mechanical Engineer Consultant to support the development of equipment, processes, and products from concept and simulation through detailed design, manufacturing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.\nThe team is in the early development phase of a new machine, using a try-fast, fail-fast approach. The role covers mechatronics, injection moulding parts, tooling design, and technical documentation. The person should be able to handle mechanical design, perform simple CREO simulations or calculations (or learn on the job), collaborate with simulation experts, and support test-rig purchasing, assembly, and testing. It’s a dynamic, hands-on environment, so I need someone experienced, energetic, and able to contribute quickly in a small team.\nThe role includes:\n· Mechanical design and dimensioning of equipment, mechanisms, and motion systems.\n· Kinematic and dynamic simulations in Creo, including forces, torque, speed, acceleration, and dynamic loads.\n· Design and dimensioning of mechatronic and servo-controlled systems, including servo motors, actuators, transmissions, and sensors.\n· Knowledge of injection moulding processes, mould/tooling design, and the interaction between product, tooling, process, and production equipment.\n· Development of technical specifications, equipment layouts, and component selection.\n· Support during testing, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.\n· English is the main language and is sufficient.\nThis is a full-time consultant positionin Lundthrough Incluso.
