This position is responsible for purchasing on behalf of our complex and higher volume customers. This position also requires managing price, lead time logistics and on-time delivery of products. This individual is expected to implement their past procurement experience, sound business acumen, customer care, and communication skills. This role requires going beyond procurement with vertical dimensions, to include direct contact with customers, suppliers and several different departmental employees. The Chemicals Buyer must provide excellent customer service support, resolve complex client issues and improve client satisfaction in a timely manner.\nMost importantly you will be passionate about our Incora Values and exceeding customer expectations.\nCourage Take ownership for issues and problems.\nCollaboration Share knowledge and experience with others\nCommitment - Focus on ensuring internal and external customer expectations is met in a timely way.\nCommunity - We value our world and everyone who shares it.\nWhat Incora can offer you: An exciting package that includes great salary and benefits you would expect from a growing ambitious company, a chance to work in a first-class brand-new environment but most importantly we will offer you the chance to become part of our Incora story. \nWe want you to share in the success of Incora, so every employee is eligible for one of our incentive's programs. \nIncora offers 8 Paid Holidays with 2 additional Floating Holidays for all Full-Time employees. . \nFull-Time Exempt employees are part of Incora’s FlexTime policy, as well as 80 hours of Exempt Sick time. \nFamily friendly policies such as 2 weeks paid parental leave. \nWe believe every little help by offering a generous discount portal only available to Incora employees vis Perkspot. \nEmployers paid Group Life Insurance at 1x salary, STD, and LTD. \nIncora offers a 401K plan with company match. \nAbout you:\nOrganize and monitor complex chemical purchasing activities for our high-volume clients.\nRemain up to date on market trends on the assigned categories, including sourcing strategy, establishing vendor relationships and contract negotiations.\nIdentify alternate sources of chemical supply not currently utilized, qualify and introduce to the business in order to drive cost, quality, responsiveness and improved reliability.\nResponsible for regular interaction with cross functional teams within the company to gain input and assess the performance of suppliers in terms of delivered cost, quality, service and innovation.\nReview incoming requisitions for accuracy and completeness; resolve any problems on the requisitions with the appropriate department.\nContact chemical suppliers to obtain competitive price, determine availability, terms, and delivery schedule regarding specific requisitions; evaluate quotes from various sources and recommend awards.\nExecute duties with responsiveness, accuracy, and meet or exceed the defined performance metrics.\nWork with suppliers in support of all procurement efforts, delivery, and/or quality, including problem resolution and material expedites.\nAct as a focal point for the resolution of procurement discrepancies by communicating with Customers and suppliers, interfacing with multiple business and computer systems; and initiating actions related to invoices and payments, receiving quantities and schedules, inspections and rejections and other related issues\nResolve complex customer services issues, concerns and escalates issues as needed.\nInitiate and escalate critical material expedites of Open POs to ensure on-time deliveries.\nPrimary point of contact for day-to-day supply chain service activities to internal employees and high-volume clients.\nAdminister Customer Contract Requirements specific to the Chemical Procurement services contracted and ensure supplier compliance with site and client requirements.\nMaintain a positive image of the company with our customers, while demonstrating high standards of business ethics and integrity.
