You'll work with real business data to find trends, improve reporting, and give leadership insights that shape decisions about pricing, purchasing, and stock levels. This role suits a curious, detail-oriented student who enjoys working with numbers and wants hands-on experience where finance meets operations.\nKey Responsibilities\nAnalyze sales data by product, customer, region, and channel to identify trends, seasonality, and drivers of revenue performance.\nBuild and maintain reports and dashboards that track key metrics such as sales growth, gross margin, average selling price, and sales versus forecast.\nMonitor inventory levels and calculate metrics including inventory turnover, days on hand, aging, and stockout rates.\nIdentify slow-moving, excess, or obsolete inventory and help quantify its financial impact.\nSupport sales and demand forecasting by gathering historical data and helping evaluate forecast accuracy.\nReconcile sales and inventory data across systems to ensure accuracy and flag discrepancies.\nAssist with month-end reporting, including variance analysis explaining differences between actual results, budget, and prior periods.\nPrepare clear summaries and presentations of findings for finance, sales, and operations stakeholders.\nContribute to at least one end-to-end project, such as a margin analysis by SKU, a reorder point review, or an automated reporting tool, and present results to the team at the end of the internship.\nQualifications\nRequired\nCurrently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, Supply Chain, or a related field.\nStrong Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and basic charting.\nSolid analytical and problem-solving skills, with close attention to detail.\nClear written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain data findings to non-finance audiences.\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nPreferred\nExperience with a data visualization tool such as Power BI or Tableau.\nFamiliarity with working with big data sets.\nBasic understanding of financial statements, cost of goods sold, and inventory accounting concepts (e.g., FIFO, weighted average cost).\nExposure to ERP systems .\nPrior internship, coursework, or project experience in financial analysis, supply chain, or
