This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring financial integrity, strong governance, and operational excellence across multiple countries within the RoW region.\nThis is an on-site position based in Johor.\n\nResponsibilities:\nLead accounting, financial reporting, and controllership activities for the Malaysia SSC.\nOversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.\nEnsure compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, local statutory requirements, and company accounting policies.\nMaintain balance sheet integrity, financial statement quality, and a strong internal control environment.\nManage statutory reporting, external audits, and regulatory compliance across the region.\nPartner with Tax, Treasury, Legal, FP&A, Operations, HR, and IT teams on key business initiatives.\nLead, mentor, and develop the Malaysia SSC finance team.\nDrive process standardization, continuous improvement, and finance transformation initiatives.\nSupport ERP enhancements, reporting tools, and automation projects across the RoW organization.\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.\nProfessional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, MICPA, CIMA, or equivalent.\n7+ years of progressive accounting, financial reporting, or controllership experience.\nProven leadership experience managing accounting or finance teams.\nStrong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, statutory reporting, and internal controls.\nExperience working across multiple countries, legal entities, and shared service center environments.\nExperience leading process improvement, finance transformation, or system implementation initiatives.\nExperience with ERP and financial consolidation systems (JDE, OneStream, GEAC, or equivalent).\nStrong analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.\nFluent English language skills.
