The Inventory Planner decisions directly impact purchase quantities and open to buy budgets. Chemical Inventory is additionally managed in accordance to specified contractual guidelines for a set of designated accounts / customers. \nThe Inventory Planner utilizes analytical skills to perform in the inventory management role with the guidance of SIOP Management and Sr Level Inventory Planners.\nThe Inventory Planner is responsible for attaining all major Key Performance Metrics (KPI’s) related to the management of customer contracts and company financial targets (Min Max (MM) in-stock %, Inventory Turn, Slow Moving Inventory). \nAccountability and Scope:\nThe Inventory Planner decisions directly impact chemical inventory purchases . The Inventory Planner is accountable for achieving Inventory $ targets, supporting organizational financial goals and customer contract Key Performance Metrics (KPI’s) including Min/Max In-stock % (On-time Delivery) Goals, Inventory Turn and Minimizing Slow Moving inventory (SMI). \nThe Inventory Planner is accountable for supporting strong customer relationships through the management of contractual inventory requirements for chemicals. They will be responsible for taking action on Customer Program forecasts/Metrics/Demand Trends autonomously. \nThe Inventory Planner will effectively analyze and manage inventory levels at INCORA’s warehouses and/or Customer Onsite Warehouse locations reviewing stock to make sure it matches customer demand. They will identify trends and pertinent patterns of usage history and forecast. Additionally, the Sr Inventory planner will manage stagnant/ Slow moving inventory for accountability and actions needed.\nThe Inventory Planner will determine if product is available at different regional locations and create a cost/benefit analysis for stocking vs transferring goods. \nThe Inventory Planner will be held accountable for managing Inventory Shortages/ Exposure, Inventory Dollar Variance to Goals, Cost of Goods Sold to Receipt Variance, Delivery Planning (Purchase Order push in/ out), Excess/ Scrap Exposure. In addition, they will receive a separate amount of Sick Time.\nFamily friendly policies such as 2 weeks paid parental leave. \nWe believe every little help by offering a generous discount portal only available to Incora employees vis Perkspot. \nEmployers paid Group Life Insurance at 1x salary, STD, and LTD. \nIncora offers a 401K plan with company match. \n\nDuties and Resonsibilty:\nWith the guidance of SIOP Management and Sr Level Inventory Planners, the Inventory Planner will learn to develop a just in time stocking and replenishment plan for customer contracted requirements to attain service level goals including Min / Max in stock %\nInteract closely with the customer and Program Management Team to understand production changes and forecasts in order to make appropriate adjustments to customer inventory plans\nManagement of inventory turns through maintaining appropriate Min/Max inventory levels to optimize inventory carrying costs\nConduct Economic reorder quantity analysis as part of Min / Max level review process\nIdentify materials that are on back order due to inventory shortages (Supply chain Exposure) that impact the customer production schedule and develop mitigation solutions\nIdentify Sites that are in variance to Inventory $ Goal and develop recovery plans.\nEffectively manage and reduce levels of surplus and stagnant inventory through review of Slow Moving & Expiring materials reports.\nInteract with Supply Chain, including but not limited to the Purchasing, Procurement, and Material Support Teams, to streamline supply chain, reduce cycle time, and develop a shared understanding for supply chain opportunities and constraints\nWith the guidance of SIOP Management and Sr Level Inventory Planners, will learn to develop and manage ad-hoc inventory management related projects\nAttend customer or company-sponsored meetings and/or training, as required\nDevelop and maintain strong knowledge of Incora products, services, quality requirements, customer plans and specifications\nRepresent Incora's vision, values (Courage, Collaboration, Commitment and Community) and objectives in all job-related activities, while building and maintaining excellent customer relationships.\nAbout You:\nBachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, Supply Chain, Inventory Management and/or equivalent experience preferred\nDemonstrated excellence in data and mathematical analysis\nStrong verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact directly with internal customers and external customers\nStrong follow-through and perseverance to handle multiple tasks simultaneously\nMust have the ability to adjust to changing priorities, multiple demands and crises\nMust have strong analytical skills and demonstrate strength in attention to detail\nAbility to be detailed oriented and perform in-depth research\nExpert competency working with integrated data systems, Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and intermediate to advanced Word and Excel (i.e., spreadsheets, formulas, importing and exporting of files, as applicable) as required\nKnowledge of Oracle data systems a plus (JDE, SAP, etc)\n2-5 years’ experience in inventory management including but not limited to: demand planning, MRP, forecasting, and sourcing\nAPICS Certification preferred\nProven experience and working knowledge of Just in Time (JIT) supply process\nProven ability to successfully engage in process improvement from plan development to\nimplementation.\nStrong Mathematical Skills, Problem Solving, Reasoning\nStrong Excel Skills (Pivot Tables, Lookups, advanced formulas)\nTime management\nAble to multi-task and Prioritize\nCustomer focus\nIndependent, Driven and Action Oriented\nTeamwork - Able to work cross functionally\nStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is essential, alongside experience using Copilot or other AI tools to enhance productivity.\nVery importantly we want to be with you to help your career take off and become part of the Incora Story.\nSo, if you feel you have all of this, and want to be part of developing the Incora Story apply now we can’t wait to hear from you.\nThe description provided above is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all job duties, responsibilities and requirements.
