They will maintain and develop efficient processes to ensure that Accounts Payable activities are carried out within a controlled framework and support the AP Manager in daily tasks, such as payment run authorization, base data setups and other auditable actions.\nThe supervisor is a contact point for all team members and provide active support to global financial teams. The AP Supervisor will provide leadership, expertise and advice to the AP team to enable them to deliver to a consistently high standard the key financial activities within AP function. As well as supporting the AP Manager with setting and monitor team plans and to identify risk areas and process improvements, the AP Supervisor will assist the AP team with transactional activities.\nAccountability and Scope:\nThe Accounts Payable Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily Accounts Payable operations to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant supplier payments in line with company policies. The role supervises a team and acts as the primary escalation point for operational issues and complex transactions. The Supervisor has delegated authority for payment runs, vendor master data setup, and other auditable activities, while maintaining strong internal controls. The role supports the Accounts Payable Manager in managing team performance, identifying risks, and driving process improvements, and provides hands-on support with AP transactions as needed.\nEssential Job Duties and Responsibilities:\nBe a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Accounts Payable processes and provide support, expertise and guidance to the Accounts Payable Clerks to enable them to provide timely and accurate financial services and responses to queries;\nSupport and have delegated authority for payment runs (of significant value), base data setups and other auditable actions;\nEnsure all required monthly processing is completed within the agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA’s);\nProvides oversight and of payment runs including manual and urgent payments;\nOversee the Vendor Management processes (set up in the system);\nLead and act as a quality controller across all aspects of AP function to ensure consistency in policy application and advice /customer service provided;\n2\nSupport AP Manager in setting performance targets, team work plans and enactment of risk mitigation plans, as well as continue to monitor Team’s progress on day-to-day basis.\nAct as the point of contact for operational questions and queries for the AP function across the wider organisation.\nAssist and support AP Manager in daily tasks.\nAssists with day to day AP transactions as required.\nHelp to identify, recommend and participate in improvement activities at department/company level to enhance business performance.\nComply with all relevant internal rules, policy and procedures, including those relating to Health and Safety, Data Protection and all those contained within the issued Employee Handbook and Policies and Procedures Manual.\nUndertake other duties and tasks that may be allocated that are appropriate to the job.\nEducation:\nHigher Degree Education(preferably in Finance/Accounting)\nQualifications and Experience:\nSignificant Accounts Payable experience and best practices\nExperience in managing a team\nExperience in conducting the transition process beneficial\nExperience of operating in an integrated ERP system beneficial\nCompetencies and Behaviors:\nAbility to consistently meet or exceed departmental goals and objectives accurately and efficiently and to finish assigned tasks or projects on time.\nAbility to work efficiently and independently\nExcellent organizational and time-management skills\nStrong follow-through and perseverance to handle multiple tasks.\nPhysical Requirements : Sitting/standing at computer ; work in office/remote environment\nLocation :\nOffice/ Remote\nWork authorization requirements :\n(Visas or Security Clearance etc.) ITAR requirements met\nWork Environment\nPrimarily Office setting.
