This role partners closely with suppliers, internal operations, quality, and sourcing teams to ensure components, materials, and services meet operational, quality, cost, and delivery requirements. The Supplier Operations Engineer drives continuous improvement across supplier manufacturing processes, oversees operational readiness, and mitigates risks within the supply chain.\nAccountability and Scope:\nServe as the connector between supplier intelligence, commodity strategy, and operational execution. \nHelp move and maintain the organization supporting structured, strategic supplier management. \nAct as an extension of the Supplier Management, Procurement, and Commodity Manager teams rather than as a standalone function. \nEssential Job Duties and Responsibilities:\nOwn and evolve supplier capability mapping, maintaining accountability for the capability framework while leveraging team resources to help populate and refresh data. \nEnable commodity strategy by providing structured inputs that support decisions to grow, maintain, or phase out suppliers and by feeding supplier intelligence into commodity manager decision-making. \nSupport internal and customer-driven second-source development needs by responding to requests and helping build proposals that provide viable options for teams to evaluate and move forward. \nSupport improved supplier engagement by participating in and modeling effective supplier visits and helping reframe supplier interactions as reciprocal, relationship-driven engagements. \nSupport supplier assessment needs, whether informally or through structured evaluation approaches, in alignment with business priorities and customer requirements as needed. \nInfluence strategic procurement and contracting decisions by providing supplier intelligence and recommendations without bypassing established ownership and approval structures. \nWork in close partnership with Commodity Managers, recognizing that commodity strategy ownership remains with those roles while this position enables better-informed decisions. \nAct as an integrated cross-functional resource to Supplier Management, Procurement, and Commodity Management teams to align supplier insights with operational execution and business priorities. \nFamiliarity with and experience reading prints and technical specifications in a variety of formats is strongly preferred. \nMost importantly you will be passionate about our Incora Values and exceeding customer expectations.\nCourage Take ownership for issues and problems.\nCollaboration Share knowledge and experience with others\nCommitment - Focus on ensuring internal and external customer expectations is met in a timely way.\nCommunity - We value our world and everyone who shares it.\nWhat Incora can offer you: An exciting package that includes great salary and benefits you would expect from a growing ambitious company, a chance to work in a first-class brand-new environment but most importantly we will offer you the chance to become part of our Incora story. \nWe want you to share in the success of Incora, so every employee is eligible for one of our incentive's programs. \nIncora offers 8 Paid Holidays with 2 additional Floating Holidays for all Full-Time employees. . \nFull-Time Exempt employees are part of Incora’s FlexTime policy, as well as 80 hours of Exempt Sick time. \nFamily friendly policies such as 2 weeks paid parental leave. \nWe believe every little help by offering a generous discount portal only available to Incora employees vis Perkspot. \nEmployers paid Group Life Insurance at 1x salary, STD, and LTD. \nIncora offers a 401K plan with company match. \nQualifications and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, operations, business, or a related field; equivalent industry experience may be considered. \nProgressive experience in aerospace manufacturing, industrial operations, supply chain, supplier management, procurement, or related commercial and operational roles, ideally within complex, regulated, or high-mix environments. \nDemonstrated ability to work across engineering, manufacturing, quality, sourcing, and supplier-facing teams, with experience interpreting technical drawings, manufacturing processes, cost drivers, and operational requirements to support business decisions.
