build times, test reliability, deployment safety, rollback paths.\nBuild self-service tooling and internal abstractions so product teams can provision, deploy, and debug on their own.\nRun and extend our observability stack: metrics, logs, traces, alerting, and dashboards that people actually use.\nImprove reliability through capacity planning, load testing, failure-mode analysis, and incident response.\nEmbed security and compliance into the platform - [Terraform / Pulumi / CloudFormation] - including module design and state management.\nProduction experience with containers and orchestration ([Docker], [Kubernetes / ECS / Nomad]).\nComfortable writing real code in at least one language ([Go / Python / TypeScript]) - not just scripts and glue.\nPractical experience building or operating CI/CD systems ([GitHub Actions / GitLab CI / Jenkins / Argo CD]).\nWorking knowledge of GitOps-based delivery (Argo CD, Flux, or similar) and comfort introducing it where it doesn't already exist.\nGood working knowledge of Linux, networking fundamentals, and debugging distributed systems.\nExperience with observability tooling (Prometheus / Grafana / Datadog / OpenTelemetry) covering metrics, logs, and traces - including hands-on work with monitoring and alerting, not just consuming dashboards someone else built.\nWorking knowledge of policy-as-code and admission control for enforcing security and compliance in the platform.\nA developer-experience mindset: you measure whether your tooling actually made teams faster, and you talk to the people using it.\nClear written communication - design docs, runbooks, and postmortems that others can follow.\nNice to have\nExperience with service meshes, API gateways, or multi-cluster networking.\nDatabase operations experience ([PostgreSQL / MySQL / Redis]) -
