The Worker Growth team uses consumer insight, creativity and lifecycle communications to help workers overcome barriers, find opportunities and stay engaged with the platform.\nThe B2C Lifecycle Communications Manager owns lifecycle communications for US workers. Based in Austin, the role pairs with the UK Lifecycle Communications Manager and provides coverage across time zones when the UK manager is out.\nThis is not a campaign-setup or stakeholder-request fulfillment role. The manager stays close to worker behavior, pain points, and city-level marketplace demand, and uses those insights to shape the lifecycle communications strategy across US markets.\nThe role combines data, creativity, and consumer judgment to develop compelling content, test new approaches, and identify where communications can remove friction, improve conversion, and strengthen the worker experience. US work is local: geo-targeted journeys, deep links, post-event conversion, and Spanish-language variants where the market needs them.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nOwn and continuously evolve the end-to-end worker lifecycle communications strategy for the US, covering onboarding, activation, education, retention, and re-engagement, and provide the same coverage for the UK when the UK manager is out.\nStay close to worker behavior, pain points, and city-level marketplace demand, including local hiring events and in-market activations, to identify where communications can remove friction, influence behavior, and improve the worker experience.\nMap and optimize lifecycle journeys by city and audience to improve funnel conversion, worker enablement, and long-term engagement, including geo-targeted journeys, deep links, and post-event conversion.\nDevelop compelling, audience-relevant content across email, SMS, push notifications, and in-app communications, including the US worker newsletter and Spanish-language variants where the market needs them.\nBuild and manage automated lifecycle journeys in Braze so communications are timely, coordinated, and relevant to each stage of the worker experience and to the city the worker is in.\nUse data and performance insights, including city, venue, and post-event results, to prioritize opportunities, measure impact, and inform decisions.\nDesign and run experiments across messaging, creative, audience, channel, timing, frequency, geography, and language, and apply what you learn.\nOwn the US worker communications calendar and set clear principles for targeting, frequency, channel selection, quality, and prioritization, including US consent rules for SMS, email, and promotions.\nWhat you'll need\nStrong experience in lifecycle marketing, customer engagement, CRM, or consumer communications.\nA strong understanding of customer behavior, lifecycle journeys, and how communications can influence conversion, engagement, and retention.\nProven experience creating effective content and campaigns across channels such as email, SMS, push notifications, and in-app messaging.\nA track record of delivering measurable business results through experimentation, including journey optimization, A/B testing, and performance analysis.\nStrong analytical skills, with experience using customer data, segmentation, and behavioral insights to identify opportunities and make decisions, including geo-targeting and city-level audiences.\nHands-on experience with Braze or a similar CRM, marketing automation, or customer engagement platform, and working knowledge of US messaging rules for SMS consent, email, and promotions such as sweepstakes.\nProven experience using AI tools such as Cursor, Claude and ChatGPT to create content, analyze customer insights, prototype new ideas, build lightweight solutions and improve the speed and quality of execution.\nStrong creative and editorial judgment, with the ability to develop clear, engaging, and audience-relevant messaging in English, and to direct Spanish-language variants where the market needs them.\nComfortable prioritizing and delivering multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment where city priorities can change quickly, and able to work US hours from Austin with overlap to cover the UK.\nHighly proficient with utilizing several tools to enable real-time collaboration with a globally distributed workforce such as Miro, Monday, Salesforce, Google Meet, Zoom, Slack, etc.\nNice-to-Haves\nExperience in a US digital consumer product or multi-city marketplace.\nDirect production experience in Braze, rather than only a similar CRM, marketing automation, or customer engagement platform.\nWhat you’ll get\n$80,000 to $90,000 annually \nPerformance-based bonus\nMedical, Dental, Vision, and 401K\nAccess to Company & Employee Benefits\n25 days PTO (prorated) + Birthday Off\n8 Paid Holidays \nDuvet days (½ day off every quarter)\nVolunteer days\nAbout Us\nWe’re helping people get jobs by modernising the world of temporary work.
