The Claims Processor will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, and processing insurance claims and determining policy coverage for the claimed loss and appropriate compensation amount.\nJob Location: Remote - Canada Compensation: $44,000 CAD annually\nMain Responsibilities:\nWorks closely with veterinary hospitals and policyholders to evaluate and review a pet’s medical history to determine a baseline of health.\nReviews policies to make eligibility determination.\nCreates and issues claims decisions to policyholders.\nMay order medical records from providers.\nMay communicate with clients and providers during treatment.\nPerforms other duties and responsibilities as assigned.\n Basic Qualifications:3+ years in the veterinary field if a licensed technician or 5+ years in the veterinary field if an unlicensed assistant.\n Must be located in Canada.\nHigh school or secondary school diploma or GED required.\nAssociates Degree or equivalent work experience (one-year relevant experience is equivalent to one-year college).\n Preferred Qualifications:Veterinary technician licensure strongly preferred.\nAll of our jobs come with great benefits including healthcare, parental leave and opportunities for career advancements.
