You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to design and implement AI-driven solutions that solve complex business challenges, all while upholding the highest standards of performance, accuracy, and security. \nWhy You Should Apply:\nCompetitive compensation package.\nAccommodating and flexible paid time off.\nA knowledgeable, goal-driven, and exciting team of colleagues.\nExposure to different areas of banking and the ability to work with leaders within the industry.\nCommunity-focused events and volunteer opportunities.\nWhat You Will Do: \nDesign, develop, and implement generative AI models using platforms such as OpenAI, Azure, and VAPI.\nCollaborate with analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to define AI use cases and integrate AI models into existing systems.\nConduct rigorous testing, validation, and tuning of AI models to ensure optimal accuracy and performance.\nPreprocess and manage training datasets, ensuring data quality and integrity.\nDeploy AI models to production environments and monitor their performance.\nTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to AI model deployment and operation.\nContinuously evaluate the latest advancements in AI and incorporate relevant technologies into the organization’s AI strategy.\nDevelop and maintain documentation for AI models, including design decisions, implementation processes, and usage guidelines.\nEnsure that all AI solutions adhere to data privacy, security, and responsible AI guidelines.\nWork closely with management to align AI initiatives with business objectives.\nProvide support and training to internal teams on the usage and management of AI models.\nPerform other related duties as assigned.\nWhat We’re Looking For:\nBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.\nRelevant certifications or coursework in AI/ML are a plus.\n1+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML projects, with a focus on generative AI models.\n1+ years of experience with generative AI models, especially those from OpenAI, Azure, and VAPI.\nProficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, or JavaScript.\nStrong understanding of machine learning concepts, neural networks, and natural language processing.\nExperience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.\nFamiliarity with cloud platforms like Azure and AWS for deploying AI models.\nStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize model performance.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.\nAbility to adapt quickly to new technologies and methodologies.\nAttention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.\nKnowledge of data privacy, security, and AI governance.\nThis is an exciting step in a journey to creating a fulfilling and rewarding career at Independent Bank.
