The Cybersecurity Engineer will design, implement, and maintain security measures that safeguard our networks, applications, and infrastructure. The Cybersecurity Engineer will continuously monitor and analyze to detect vulnerabilities and respond to security incidents promptly. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Ultimately, the Cybersecurity Engineer’s efforts will help maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our digital assets, supporting the organization's overall risk management strategy.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.\n 5+ years of work experience in Cyber Security related duties such as incident detection, response and forensics.\nStrong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and security technologies.\nExperience with security monitoring tools and incident response processes.\nFamiliarity with regulatory frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or GDPR.\nMust have at least one Professional Cybersecurity Certification such as (CISSP, CISM, CASP, CEH)\nRelevant experience may substitute for educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMaster’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.\nKnowledge of scripting or programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.\nHands-on experience with SIEM tools and automation of security workflows.\nBackground in threat intelligence and advanced persistent threat (APT) mitigation.\nDesign, implement, and manage systems for user authentication, authorization, and access control, requiring skills in platforms like Okta, Azure AD, SAML, OIDC\nResponsibilities:\nDemonstrate commitment to Our Mission and models ILS Experience Standards of Excellence.\nDevelop, configure, and maintain security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection solutions.\nConduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and remediate potential risks.\nMonitor network traffic and security alerts to detect and respond to suspicious activities or breaches.\nCollaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into system architecture and software development lifecycle.\nContribute to security policies, procedures, and incident response plans.\nStay current with emerging cybersecurity threats, technologies, and regulatory changes to proactively enhance security posture.\nProvide training and guidance to staff on security awareness and best practices.\nPerform other duties as
