Ultimately, this role ensures that software engineering efforts contribute effectively to improving health outcomes and operational efficiency.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.\n5 years of experience in software development.\n3 years of proven experience managing software engineering teams in a regulated industry, preferably healthcare.\nStrong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps practices.\nFamiliarity with healthcare compliance standards such as HIPAA and experience implementing secure software solutions.\nRelevant experience may substitute for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMaster’s degree in Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a related field.\nExperience with cloud platforms and modern software architecture patterns such as microservices.\nKnowledge of healthcare data standards such as HL7, FHIR, or X12.\nCertification in project management (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master) or software quality assurance.\nExperience working in cross-functional teams within healthcare technology organizations.\nResponsibilities:\nDemonstrate commitment to Our Mission and models ILS Experience Standards of Excellence.\nLead and manage a team of software engineers to deliver scalable and maintainable software solutions.\nCollaborate with product managers, clinical stakeholders, and other departments to define project requirements and timelines.\nOversee the software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.\nEnsure compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and maintain high standards for data security and member privacy.\nImplement and promote best practices in software engineering, including code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration.\nManage resource allocation, project prioritization, and
