We work closely with all departments of our company to understand their business processes and translate them into well-structured Odoo modules and configurations. This is a hands-on engineering role. You will be contributing to the full lifecycle of Odoo projects, including:\nCustom module development and business logic implementation\nIntegration with third-party APIs and external platforms\nUI customisation using Odoo's OWL framework and QWeb templates\nData migration and system configuration\nPerformance optimisation and code quality improvements\nRole Overview\nAs a Mid-Level Software Engineer specialising in Odoo, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom Odoo modules that extend the platform's core functionality. You will work within a cross-functional team alongside business analysts, QA engineers, and project managers to deliver reliable, production-ready solutions. You are expected to have a solid understanding of the Odoo framework, Python backend development, and some familiarity with frontend customisation. You should be comfortable reading existing Odoo source code and following best practices for module structure and upgradability.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop and maintain custom Odoo modules\nExtend existing Odoo apps (Website, Accounting, HR, CRM) to meet business requirements\nBuild and customise views using QWeb templates and the OWL JavaScript framework\nWrite clean, testable Python code following Odoo's MVC/ORM patterns\nIntegrate Odoo with external systems via REST/JSON-RPC APIs\nPerform data migrations and upgrades across Odoo versions\nDiagnose and fix bugs in both custom and core Odoo modules\nCollaborate on functional requirements, technical specifications, and code reviews\nWrite unit and integration tests to ensure module reliability\nSupport deployment, staging, and production environments using Docker or similar tooling\n\nExperience2 to 4 years\nThe applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Software Company\n\nAdditional RequirementsAge At least 26 years\n Required Qualifications\n• 2-4 years of professional experience with Odoo development (v16, v17, v18, or v19)\n• Strong proficiency in Python and Odoo's ORM (models, fields, computed fields, constraints)\n• Solid understanding of Odoo module structure, manifest files, and inheritance patterns\n• Hands-on experience with QWeb reports and views\n• Familiarity with PostgreSQL -
