This role goes beyond typical frontend development—you’ll lead a team to implement secure, compliant, and high-performance interfaces, using modern frameworks and Clean Architecture patterns that are system-agnostic and business-rule-centric.\nYou’ll collaborate closely with a Chief Architect to understand and apply advanced architectural patterns—including Ports and Adapters, Layered Architecture, Presenters, and Repositories—and ensure these are correctly implemented and taught to the team.\nKey Responsibilities🚀 Technical LeadershipLead the frontend team in building and scaling complex, modular applications using React, Next.js, and state-of-the-art architectural standards.\n\nTranslate high-level architecture from the Chief Architect into practical design patterns, and ensure consistent adoption across the team.\n\nEstablish reusable architecture patterns ensuring strict separation of concerns, domain isolation, and framework independence.\n\n🧠 Architecture & DesignDesign frontend systems using Clean Architecture, Hexagonal (Ports and Adapters), and Layered Patterns.\n\nGuide the team in building presenters, interactors, and repositories within the frontend layer to enforce domain isolation.\n\nEnsure all frontend modules remain testable, extensible, and agnostic of rendering or delivery mechanisms.\n\n🌍 Compliance & SecurityArchitect applications that meet GDPR, ESPR, IDS, Gaia-X, and other EU/industry privacy and data sovereignty standards.\n\nImplement privacy-first UI practices (e.g., user consent flows, data minimization, tracking protection).\n\nCollaborate with Security teams to uphold state-of-the-art compliance with encryption, access control, and audit logging at the interface layer.\n\n⚙️ Performance & ScalabilityImplement SSR/SSG/ISR with Next.js App Router and optimize for scalability and performance via CDNs, caching layers, and server components.\n\nDefine loading strategies, hydration management, and incremental revalidation to ensure optimal UX and performance.\n\nCollaborate with backend engineers to streamline data-fetching strategies, edge rendering, and caching policies.\n\n👥 Team EnablementMentor and train developers on architecture, clean code, and the domain-specific standards of DPP and Data Spaces.\n\nConduct architecture reviews, system walkthroughs, and hands-on pairing with team members.\n\nHelp shape onboarding documentation and architectural playbooks.\n\nTech StackLanguages: TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+)\n\nFrameworks: React, Next.js (App Router), Node.js\n\nState Management: Zustand, Redux Toolkit, Context API\n\nArchitectures: Clean Architecture, Hexagonal (Ports & Adapters), Layered, Modular Monorepo\n\nCompliance Standards: GDPR, ESPR, IDS, engineer.\n\nExpert-level proficiency in React, Next.js, and TypeScript.\n\nStrong architectural understanding and practical experience with Clean Architecture and domain isolation in frontend systems.\n\nProven experience implementing secure, privacy-compliant, and internationalized frontend systems.\n\nSolid grasp of SSR performance optimizations, caching strategies, and CDN-aware architectures.\n\nExperience with data governance principles, data space standards, or industrial data exchange systems is a big plus.\n\nExcellent communication and mentoring skills to coach developers on advanced design principles.\n\nNice to Have\nExperience working on DPP, Gaia-X, or IDS ecosystems.\n\nBackground in B2B industrial platforms, IoT interfaces, or traceability
