You will drive innovation by leveraging your experience and expertise to build global payment acceptance solutions that allow our clients and merchants to accept payments seamlessly using various payment methods.\n\nResponsibilities: \nDesign, build, and operate scalable, fault-tolerant systems.\nTake operational responsibility for critical systems that are used to process transactions globally.\nWork closely with cross-functional teams including product, business and engineering teams to solve business problems.\nIdentify opportunities for technical optimisation and craft compelling business cases for enhancements or new growth initiatives.\nImplement payment-specific API functions: payment initiation, authorisation, capture, refund, settlement, reconciliation, transaction lookup, dispute handling and webhook event processing.\nApply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles: Define bounded contexts, aggregates, domain models, ubiquitous language, domain events and tactical patterns to shape service boundaries and maintainable code.\n\nRequirements: \n2 - 5 years of relevant backend development experience.\nStrong Java and Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security).\nPractical microservices experience (REST/gRPC, service discovery, inter-service comms).\nHands-on experience with payment systems or payment integrations (PSP/gateway, transaction lifecycle).\nGood knowledge of relational databases and at least one NoSQL store.\nExperience in writing unit test cases and working in a TDD approach.\n\nGood to have: \nExperience in Azure, Kafka, RabbitMQ\nFamiliarity with Docker / Kubernetes with CI/CD.\nExperience in event-driven design, event sourcing.\nFamiliarity with payment standards (ISO 8583, UPI concepts) and PCI-DSS principles.\n\nQualifications: \nB. Tech / B.
