Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody these values to join our Neurology Research team in the role of Clinical Research Coordinator. This position will work full time, onsite, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm in our Fort Wayne offices.

In this role, you'll work closely with patients, physicians, and research teams throughout the study process, combining hands-on clinical skills with research coordination responsibilities. Minimum Candidate Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field required or equivalent experience.
  • Requires ability to obtain and apply knowledge of research operations.
  • Requires ability to obtain and apply knowledge of the organization policies and procedures.
  • Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office and applications.
  • Requires 0-3 years of relevant research data management experience.
  • May require relevant certification specified by department leadership within 2 years of hire date

Preferred:

  • 3-5 years preferred of relevant research data management experience

  • A Clinical Background (Medical Assistant, Patient Care Assistant, RN, etc.).

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and provides overall project management support for the planning, initiation, monitoring, reporting, and completion of clinical research activities.

  • Assists with the data management of clinical research programs and projects.

  • Ensures industry quality standards for clinical activities are met and promotes continuous quality improvement.

  • Assures compliance with protocols and conducts activities in accordance with regulatory requirements.

  • Managing patient vitals, drawing labs, completing EKGs.
