Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody these values to join our Regional HR team in the role of Human Resources Business Partner.\nWe are seeking an experienced, independent, and strategically minded HR Business Partner to support the Metro area academic side of IU Health, including dually employed physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, and their leaders. In this role, you would be a strategic partner - coaching leaders on documentation and performance, supporting organizational design, guiding change management efforts, and advising on labor and wage compliance matters. The day to day is highly varied, with no two situations exactly alike, and the role requires someone who operates with sound independent judgment.\nKey Relationships\nReports to: Director - Human Resources\nDirect reports: None\nShift: Full time, Monday - Friday, hybrid (3 days per week in office)\nLocation: Indianapolis, IN\nThe Scope:\nThis role provides strategic HR partnership across the Metro academic service area, including:\nServing as the primary HR partner for dually employed physicians, APPs, and their leaders\nWorking hand in hand with the IU School of Medicine on employee relations matters that involve dually employed faculty and clinical staff\nCoaching leaders on documentation practices, performance management, behavioral issues, and organizational design\nGuiding leaders through change management and helping them build team buy in around initiative rollouts\nAdvising leaders on labor and wage law application\nSupporting the implementation of system wide HR initiatives including annual performance reviews, employee engagement programs, and succession planning\nPartnering with HR Centers of Excellence in talent acquisition, total rewards, talent management, and learning and development as needed\nProducing advanced PowerPoint and Excel deliverables including data storytelling and recommendation making materials for leader audiences\nOperating independently across a highly matrixed, complex environment \nCandidate Qualifications\nCandidates for this position will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies.\nBachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is required. Master's Degree is preferred.\nSHRM or HRCI certification is a plus.\nRequires 3-5 years of relevant Human Resources experience.\nRequires experience in the execution of HR programs.\n Must be able to guide the application of HR related regulations and laws (e.g. FLSA, COBRA, ADA, FMLA, etc.).\nRequires proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI and SharePoint.\nThrives in uncertain environments, exercising sound judgment, initiative, and independence to achieve results.
