The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in designing test strategies, executing manual testing activities, and building scalable automation frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript.\n\nThe candidate will be responsible for ensuring software quality throughout the SDLC by performing functional, integration, regression, API, and end-to-end testing while contributing to automation initiatives and continuous quality improvement.\n\nKey Responsibilities : \n\n1. Manual Testing : \n\n- Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.\n\n- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test data.\n\n- Execute Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, Integration, System, UAT, and Exploratory Testing. Perform end-to-end validation of application workflows.\n\n- Conduct cross-browser, cross-platform, and responsive testing.\n\n- Identify, document, track, and verify defects using defect management tools such as JIRA.\n\n- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and Stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables. Participate in requirement reviews and provide early quality feedback.\n\n2. Automation Testing : \n\n- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript/JavaScript.\n\n- Automate functional, regression, and end-to-end test scenarios. Develop reusable page objects, utilities, fixtures, and test components.\n\n- Implement data-driven and keyword-driven automation approaches where applicable.\n\n- Execute automated test suites and analyze failures. Improve automation coverage and framework maintainability.\n\n- Ensure adherence to automation best practices and coding standards.\n\nAPI Testing : \n\n- Perform REST API testing using Postman and automation tools.\n\n- Validate request/response payloads, headers, authentication, status codes, and business rules.
