This role also supports the larger supply chain group through inventory storage and processing capacity.\nKEY PERFORMANCE METRICS\nProduct flow visibility and optimization\nOn-time delivery of inbound goods\nSupply chain issue resolution - Including inbound logistics and DC support\nCarrier and Forwarder operations alignment\nKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES\nFunctional\n Partner with merchants, planning, transportation, distribution and sourcing teams to co-ordinate flow of goods through the network\nTrack purchase order movement through supply chain pipelines\nAnalyze available data to provide network insights related to product flow and supply chain performance\nConsistently review and manage product availability; addressing any gaps that may impact inventory commitments\nUnderstand and effectively communicate all aspects of supply chain programs\nDevelop and maintain effective communication to internal stakeholders and transportation partners\nCollaborate with internal partners to analyze data, identify trends, communicate findings and drive change\nSupport distribution centre strategies and inbound optimization\nMaintain existing reports and publish according to agreed timelines\nAct as an advocate for the customer by placing them at the forefront of all decision-making and design processes\nProactively identify and anticipate customer expectations and needs\nChallenge the status quo by consistently identifying areas for improvement, diagnosing issues and working to resolve them\nPeople\nCollaborate with team to drive flexible and iterative solutions, quickly and easily\nShare technical knowledge with others and actively seek to learn from those more knowledgeable than yourself\nHelp others see the impacts of their efforts and proactively engage other functions to get input\nEncourage others to freely share their point of view and be open to feedback\nCultural\nModel Indigo’s beliefs and convey a positive image in everything you do\nCelebrate diversity of thought and have an open mindset\nTake an active role in fostering a culture of continual learning, taking risks without the fear of making mistakes\nEmbrace, champion and influence change through your team and/or the organization\nSCOPE\nReports to: Inbound Logistics Manager\nManager once Removed (MOR): Director, Global Logistics\nKEY RELATIONSHIPS\nInternal:\nMerchant Teams\nPlanning & Inventory Management\nDC Receiving\nFinance\nExternal:\nMerchandise Vendors\nFreight Forwarders and Carriers\nCustoms Brokers\n Work Experience / Education / Certifications\nBachelor’s degree or college diploma in a similar or related field, preferably business, supply chain or logistics\n1-3 years’ relevant experience in a similar role within supply chain, retail organization or CPG\nPrevious experience with SAP and WMS is considered an asset\nCompetencies / Skills / Attributes\nProficient in Microsoft Office suite of programs, specifically Excel and Access\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nDetail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills\nAbility to work with complex data systems and perform detailed analysis\n Indigo uses artificial intelligence (AI) tools to assist with certain aspects of the hiring process, such as screening and assessments.
