We are asking for candidates to be based in London and Manchester or surrounding areas.\nThe role will be for ad hoc deployment duties for work on specific DICI projects for Indigo Telecom Group.\nKey Responsibilities\nThe successful engineers will be responsible for:\nInstalling and commissioning Nokia BTS equipment, including GPS antennas, RF jumpers, indoor cabinets, baseband modules, RRHs/RFMs and associated cabling.\nCarrying out comprehensive testing and completing all required commissioning documentation, reports and checklists.\nInstalling and testing BTS-to-BTS Breakout Box (BOB) or ground-level RRU cabling (up to 10 metres), ensuring correct labelling, tagging and watertight connections.\nSafely removing legacy equipment, including the disconnection of power and transmission cabling.\nInstalling indoor, outdoor and street works cabinets, including rack assembly, adaptor plates, positioning, doors, panels and associated accessories.\nIdentifying and managing pre-existing external alarms in line with Nokia and BT/EE procedures before equipment swaps.\nReporting any pre-existing site defects through the customer's OSDS process and escalating issues to the Indigo back-office team where required.\nCompleting site call testing in accordance with customer processes.\nProducing and submitting Hand Over Packs (HOPs/SARPs) to customer SLA requirements.
