In 2024, we launched RIVILE ERP, a cloud-native business management platform designed around automation, integrations, scalability and modern web technologies. Our ambition is to take the product beyond Lithuania and build a SaaS platform capable of serving businesses in international markets.\n\nFor a Tech Lead, this means joining at a particularly interesting stage — the product already has a strong business foundation and real customers, while the technology and architecture are still evolving. You will have the opportunity to influence architectural decisions, engineering practices and the evolution of a scalable, multi-tenant SaaS platform rather than simply maintaining a mature legacy product.\n\nOur recruitment process consists of just two meetings:\n\n1. Technical interview with HR, the Head of Engineering, and the Architect (remote). During this meeting, we briefly introduce our organization, the team, and the role, while also discussing your experience and assessing your technical knowledge.\n\n2. Final interview with the CEO and the Head Of Engineering (preferably in person). This meeting is focused on aligning expectations from both sides and making sure we are a good match for working together.\n\nThe team:\n\nOur engineering team consists of 19 developers across three teams: Frontend (5), Domain (10) and Platform (4). Each team has its own area of responsibility, but we work closely together, share knowledge, and help each other solve challenges.\n\nYou’ll be joining our Platform Team, a small team of four where everyone has a voice and the opportunity to make an impact. We value ownership, independence, and quality over simply getting things done quickly. As a Tech Lead, you’ll be part of this culture – helping others grow, sharing knowledge, and creating an environment where people can do their best work.\n\n About the Role:\n\n Take ownership of key technical areas of our multi-tenant ERP platform, ensuring solutions are secure, reliable, scalable, and maintainable.\n\nLead complex technical initiatives from identifying problems and evaluating solutions to implementation and delivery.\n\nStay hands-on with Java and Spring Boot development, contributing to complex tasks while balancing coding with technical leadership responsibilities.\n\nHelp shape technical standards, engineering practices, and code quality across the platform.\n\nProvide technical guidance and mentorship to other developers through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and constructive feedback.\n\nIdentify technical risks, challenge existing approaches, and drive improvements in system performance, reliability and maintainability.\n\nWork closely with the Head of Engineering, architects, and other developers to make well-informed technical decisions and ensure their successful implementation.\n\nCollaborate with other engineering teams and to share knowledge and facilitate learning within the development team.\n\nMandatory experience requirements:\n\nDomain Driven Design, Clean Code and expectation of high-quality code standard\n\n7+ years of experience building SaaS multi-tenant solutions with strong Java knowledge which brings ability to design and develop complex solutions\n\nJava Spring ecosystem (Core, Boot, Web, Data and Security, Spring Cloud, Spring Integration)\n\nExperience with high-load systems: heavy-load DB queries/mutation, requests throttling, async processing.\n\nArchitectural knowledge of: Hibernate, Event driven microservices with CQRS (Command Query Responsibility Segregation), Saga design pattern\n\nAbility to explain complex decisions and make consensus agreements with the team\n\nProven experience making technical decisions and guiding other developers through complex implementations\n\nAbility to take ownership, work independently, and drive technical problems to resolution\n\nExperience mentoring developers and providing constructive technical feedback\n\nPreferred experience requirements (stand out):\n\nEvent driven frameworks using Axon or Message Bus (JMS
