It currently includes Java and Node.js developers as well as a manager, so the PHP developer role would join an established team that is already collaborating effectively while continuing to grow rapidly.\n\nThe Recruitment Process:\n\nWe value our candidates’ time, so our recruitment process is designed to be efficient and transparent:\n\n1. Introductory call with HR and the Technical Leader (30-minute remote meeting).\n\n2. Take-home assignment. Please note that this is not a coding task, and no programming will be required.\n\n3. Review of the assignment followed by a technical interview with the CTO.\n\nIn total, the process consists of just two remote meetings and one non-coding take-home assignment in between.\n\n Your responsibilities:\n\n Professional software development using PHP 7/8, Symfony, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, AWS (S3, SQS, API Gateway), REST APIs, and event-driven architectures.\n\nAI supported development process with Claude.\n\nActive shaping of the software architecture and contributions to design decisions.\n\nDeveloping, testing, and documenting the planned functionality.\n\nWorking in a small, self-reliant Scrum team.\n\nDocumentation of planning and implementation processes in the project management software Jira and Confluence.\n\n Requirements:\n\n Several years of professional experience as a PHP Backend Developer.\n\nPrior experience with the Symfony (preferred) or Laravel frameworks, with a solid understanding of their core concepts and best practices.\n\nStrong knowledge of REST API design and development.\n\nIn-depth knowledge of PostgreSQL, including SQL optimization, indexing and query performance tuning.\n\nGood understanding of Redis and caching strategies.\n\nProven experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures and message queues (AWS SQS or RabbitMQ).\n\nHands-on experience with AWS services, particularly S3, SQS and API
