Typical hours 11PM-7AM once on shift.\nPOSITION OVERVIEW\nFacilities Technician II will provide support in all aspects of the facilities maintenance efforts at the Raleigh, NC plant. Work safely and with quality to ensure an environment that meets the production and environmental needs of all employees at this site. This position will provide support to all departments, interact with vendors, contractors, and other personnel in a professional manner. Be a team player with all departments.\nThe Tech II position will support the professional development of junior personnel by providing training on equipment and processes.\nHOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT\nMaintain and repair Facilities equipment, including but not limited to, Fire Detection and Protection, Boilers, City Water, Water Purification systems, Water For Injection, Clean Steam, Air systems, and HVAC/Chillers.\n\nPerform general facility repairs (Lighting, Doors, Card reader, Security, Fire system)\n\nWrite preventive maintenance job plans and perform preventive maintenance on equipment and systems\n\nWork with Manager to use and administer Computerized Maintenance Management Software Maintain Maintenance and Utility area cleanliness\n\nExecute small projects independently, when requested\n\nAvailable for 24 hr. call in when requested and meet attendance requirements for the job\n\nUnderstand and assist in implementing safety procedures and cGMP’s\n\nUnderstand and execute demonstrated aseptic behaviors and techniques to include Aseptic gowning\n\nAssist other departments and perform other duties as specified by the Maintenance Manager\n\nOperate, maintain, and repair plant utility systems, including but not limited to boilers, compressed air, pumping systems, chillers, HVAC units, hot water system, clean steam generators, PW pretreatment system, WFI stills, wastewater systems, vacuum system, emergency power system\n\nInteract with contractors, vendors and OEM techs as needed to complete PMs and repairs\n\nFollow established SOPs and documentation procedures\n\nPerform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned\n\nWHAT YOU’LL BRING\nHigh School Diploma/GED required\n\nMinimum three (3) years maintenance experience in facilities, utilities, electrical, HVAC, industrial equipment, or controls required\n\nMinimum one (1) year of cGMP maintenance experience with broad knowledge of facilities, clean utilities, HVAC, industrial equipment, and controls in a pharmaceutical operation required\n\nAbility to read, understand, and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and PLC logic\n\nPhysical requirements include ability to lift 50lb, have excellent balance and pass aseptic gowning qualification\n\nStrong mechanical and/or electrical or controls systems aptitude and knowledge\n\nBasic level electrical system knowledge and experience- such as, diagnosing motor or breaker issues, electrical equipment replacement, troubleshooting\n\nAbility to apply analytical reasoning and root cause analysis to solve problems (Tier 2, 3)\n\nStrong math and science skills and the ability to use a computer\n\nDemonstrated ability to read, understand, interpret and apply technical writing and instructions (Tier 2, 3)\n\nAccurate attention to detail, and a strong understanding of pharmaceutical production\n\nStrong verbal and written communication skills, with knowledge of cGMPs, and the ability to\n\nfollow good documentation practices\n\nIn addition to the minimum qualifications, the employee will demonstrate:\nEmbrace Indivior core culture principles\n\nEmbrace the dynamics of team support, team collaboration and team success\n\nCelebrate the core wins of the organization and empower others to sustain a quality mindset\n\nAlways have patient safety at the forefront in the efforts to provide safe and effective products to enhance and improve lives\n\nCelebrate and embrace diversity, equity, and inclusion\n\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to frequently lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds or more.\n\nCapability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks like bending and twisting.\n\nAbility to ascend and descend ladders.\n\nWork both indoors and outdoors, in various weather conditions.\n\nHOW WE INVEST IN OUR PEOPLE\nIndivior is committed to providing a culture driven by guiding principles and top-tier benefits that match the importance of the work we do.
