Headquartered in the United States in Richmond, VA, Indivior employs approximately 800 individuals globally.\nPOSITION OVERVIEW\nThe EHS Professional is responsible for managing and continuously improving environmental, health, and safety compliance programs at Indivior’s manufacturing site. This role ensures adherence to all applicable local, state, federal, corporate, and legal requirements to protect employee health and safety, safeguard the environment, and minimize operational risk. The EHS Professional fosters a proactive safety culture through outreach, messaging, committee leadership, and direct engagement with the Senior Management Team. This position also oversees regulatory programs, waste management, industrial hygiene, and site-wide risk mitigation strategies.\nHOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT\nManage the development, implementation, and monitoring of site EHS programs and Accident/Incident Prevention Plans\nEnsure facility compliance with required EHS elements and identify opportunities for safety improvements\nCollaborate with the Site Leadership Team to develop and implement control mechanisms for risk reduction\nOversee hazardous, non-hazardous, and biohazardous waste processing, including rejected drug vials, used chemical containers, expired chemicals, and pharmaceutical-contaminated waste\nEnsure proper storage, handling, transportation, labeling, documentation, inventory, and manifesting of all waste shipped offsite\nManage environmental programs including Indirect Discharge Permit monitoring, SPCC Plan, stormwater permitting, air permitting, and refrigerant management\nAdminister OSHA recordkeeping, incident reporting, industrial safety programs, ergonomics, respiratory protection, hearing conservation, bloodborne pathogens, and PPE programs\nDevelop and maintain the Industrial Hygiene program; assess exposure to physical and chemical hazards\nInterpret and report IH monitoring results to employees and management; prepare reports and recommendations for improvement or risk minimization\nOther duties as assigned\nWHAT YOU’LL BRING\nBachelor’s degree in Environmental science, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field preferred\nMinimum eight (8) years of EHS experience in a pharmaceutical or industrial manufacturing setting required\nDetailed knowledge of and experience interpreting local, state, federal, and corporate regulatory requirements\nStrong written and oral communication skills\nExcellent organizational and time management abilities\nAbility to work independently while maintaining communication with team members\nTeamwork, leadership, and influencing skills with a strong focus on customer service\nAbility to offer innovative and creative solutions to EHS challenges\nProven ability to manage multiple priorities under time-sensitive conditions\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nWill be required to work regularly under desirable conditions of the office setting but has occasional exposure to moderately disagreeable features of noise, heat or production conditions. \nOccasionally requires lifting and carrying less than 20 lbs. \nStanding, walking, bending over, and repetitive use of legs are done occasionally.\nHOW WE INVEST IN OUR PEOPLE\nPursuant to various state Fair Pay Acts, below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company.
