This person would own our day-to-day content production on all social media platforms (including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Bluesky, Threads, Substack, and Mastodon) and social engagement (replies, reshares, etc).\nWe are hiring for this position immediately. This position reports to the Associate Social Media Director and is full-time, with an annual salary of $83,900 and a generous benefits package.\nInstead of a cover letter, please tell us in under 300 characters (or record a video that's under one minute) why you’re interested in this position.\nWhat you'll do:\nContent Development and Execution (60%)\nWork with Social Media Manager to develop and implement the social media strategy for Indivisible Project campaigns to create and produce powerful social media content;\nDevelop daily content that uplifts our issue advocacy and political partnerships;\nCreate and oversee weekly scheduling of base layer social media content;\nMonitor social media activity of Indivisible groups to amplify actions and local successes;\nMonitor news and uplift relevant clips from television and online outlets;\nAssist with production of video content as needed;\nSupport the production of social content for organizational leadership accounts;\nManage the organization’s YouTube account\nCross-Team Coordination and Support (20%)\nWork with internal and external stakeholders to share our resources in compelling and creative ways;\nAssist as needed with digital, writing, research, and organizational projects on discrete issue-related and electoral campaigns;\nWork with other departments to develop memos on priority content areas that can be turned into social content\nReporting and Analysis (20%)\nWork with social media manager to develop impact reports and weekly social reports;\nFocus on managing our online community with the goal of engaging with the majority of relevant messages received;\nMonitor and track online activity across the Indivisible network\nQualifications:\nThree to four years of social media experience in a professional or volunteer capacity for a political campaign or non-profit;\nCommitted to building a more equitable organization and progressive movement;\nCompetency in social media scheduling and analytics platforms;\nExperience crafting social media content in a professional or official volunteer capacity for a group or organization;\nExcellent communication skills;\nDemonstrated ability to excel in a fast-paced, campaign-like environment;\nMotivation and willingness to learn;\nAlignment on the core values and strategy of the Indivisible Project.\nDesired Qualifications:\nExperience with video production and editing (including on-camera work);\nExperience with graphic design;\nProficiency with Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides;\nSpanish language skills are a plus \n About Indivisible Project\nWe’re building something new.
