We are strengthening our Space Engineering team by hiring GNC/AOCS senior engineer.\nResponsibilities:\nIndra Space is selecting one engineer to be integrated in the GNC/AOCS Competence Centre of the Flight Systems Business Unit, to support new growth areas in Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC), including Attitude and Orbit Control Systems (AOCS).\nThe work of the GNC/AOCS Competence Centre is oriented to the design, development, specification, and validation of autonomous systems, including GNC and AOCS systems, for a broad range of aerospace platforms, including\nSatellite formation flying, rendezvous, in-orbit servicing (IOS) and active debris removal (ADR)\n\nLaunch vehicles\n\nEntry, descent, and landing on planets (Earth, Mars) & natural satellites\n\nThe following types of responsibilities are envisioned:\nSpecification, design, implementation, and validation of GNC/AOCS and FDIR algorithms, to be applied to satellites, launchers, and re-entry vehicles, among others, and/or\n\nModel-based design implementation of GNC/AOCS algorithms\n\nSimulator design, implementation, and testing\n\nMathematical modelling\n\nSpecification and validation of GNC/AOCS solutions\n\nAnalysis and trade-off of hardware solutions\n\nSpecification and support to procurement of sensors and actuators\n\nInterface with the overall system team\n\nTechnical and team management\n\nWhat are we looking for?\nAt least 3 years of experience in the practical application of the domains relevant to the post (relevant MSc & PhD studies would also be considered), such as:\nPractical experience in aeronautical/aerospace GNC/AOCS and FDIR solutions (experience in ESA/European programmes is welcome)\n\nControl and simulation of dynamic systems\n\nClassical and robust control techniques (including fixed-structure H¥ synthesis, m analysis, LPV control)\n\nOn-board guidance solutions, including optimization\n\nOn-board navigation solutions, including Kalman filtering\n\nOrbital mechanics and atmospheric flight dynamics\n\nFDIR design, implementation, and validation\n\nExperience with Matlab and Simulink\n\nGood programming skills (C/Python)\n\nThe following personal skills are valued:\nGood level of English, spoken and written. \nCapability to integrate in and work within a team \nSelf-initiative \nAutonomy and self-development \nResponsibility towards the customer and colleagues \n\nWhat We Offer\nWork-life balance: Our working model is built on flexibility and autonomy, helping you balance your professional and personal life.\nCareer development: We offer career opportunities aligned with your skills, experience, and professional aspirations.\n Continuous learning: Grow your expertise through on-the-job training and access to our learning platform, designed to develop your skills and unlock your full potential.\nOur Commitment\nWe are committed to fostering an inclusive workplace where everyone is treated with respect and dignity.
