The role makes sure hardware, accounts, access, the network and corporate services work smoothly for employees, students and teachers, develops inVision’s own IT infrastructure, and builds IT operations around tickets, clear processes and documentation, automating routine work wherever possible, including with AI.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport employees, students and teachers with hardware, accounts, access and services, both in the office and remotely.\nRun the helpdesk: triage tickets, set priorities and meet response times.\nMaintain the knowledge base with guides and answers to frequently asked questions.\nHandle onboarding and offboarding: grant and revoke access, equipment and building passes.\nAdminister corporate services: Google Workspace, Slack, Jira and the password manager.\nMaintain the network, Wi-Fi, printers and office equipment.\nManage domains and corporate email.\nOversee information security: 2FA, password policies, access reviews and backups.\nPurchase hardware according to the standard, receive it and keep an up-to-date inventory.\nSet up devices and manage them via MDM.\nProcess payments for IT services on time and track subscriptions and licenses.\nWork with contractors and vendors: contracts, access and deadline tracking.\nDevelop inVision’s own IT infrastructure and migrate employees, services and data to it.\nAutomate routine tasks with scripts, Jira automations and AI tools.\nHelp colleagues get comfortable with digital tools and document all work done.\nSkills, Knowledge and Expertise\nEducation: Degree in IT or relevant courses; Google Workspace, Jamf or Atlassian certifications are an advantage\n Experience: 2+ years in system administration or IT support; experience independently running IT at a company of 10+ people as the sole or lead IT specialist; migration experience (Google Workspace, Slack, email, domains) is a big plus; ability to coordinate contractors and vendors\n Knowledge and skills:\nGoogle Workspace administration: OUs, groups, policies, 2FA\nmacOS and Windows setup and maintenance\nSlack and Jira Service Management: queues, forms, automations\nNetworking: TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Wi-Fi, troubleshooting\nDomains and email: DNS records, SPF, DKIM, DMARC\nAccount and access management, password manager\nInformation security fundamentals and backups\nHardware inventory, documentation and knowledge base maintenance\nAI tools (Claude, ChatGPT and similar)\nNice to have: MDM (Jamf or similar);
