You will own technical accounting positions on complex, non-routine transactions and help build our SEC-style external reporting, working closely with teams across our global operations. If you love getting technical, take ownership of problems end to end and want to shape reporting at a fast-growing global company, we look forward to your application!\nKey Responsibilities\nServe as the subject matter expert on complex transactions, including M&A and business combinations (ASC 805), financing transactions, revenue recognition (ASC 606), impairment, financial instruments and foreign currency matters.\nPrepare and review SEC-style financial statements, footnotes and disclosures, and help build the processes behind them to public company standards.\nResearch, document and conclude on technical accounting matters under US GAAP, drafting clear position memos and related journal entries.\nDevelop and maintain accounting policies so they are applied consistently across our global entities and stay aligned with new standards and SEC guidance.\nPartner with global accounting teams, FP&A, Legal and HR to evaluate the accounting impact of deals, financings, commercial arrangements and new initiatives.\nWork closely with external auditors to align on accounting conclusions, support audit reviews and resolve technical issues.\nOwn issues end to end: solve them independently and bring clear recommendations rather than escalating.\nSupport internal control design and SOX readiness for technical accounting and reporting processes.\nSkills, Knowledge & Expertise\nActive CPA license.\n8 to 12 years of experience, including Big 4 audit or advisory and technical accounting or SEC reporting for a public filer.\nHands-on US GAAP expertise in M&A, financing transactions and revenue recognition, plus impairment, financial instruments and FX.\nExperience at technology or IT companies with revenue between $500M and $2.5B is a strong plus.\nNetSuite experience is a plus.\nStrong research and memo-writing skills: you drive to conclusions on technical matters and explain them clearly to auditors, management and non-accountants.\nIndependent problem solver with a strong sense of ownership.\nEffective cross-functional partner, comfortable working with global teams across time zones.\nBased in the United States, in the Eastern or Central time zone.\nJob Benefits\nHelp us challenge injustice by creating fair choices for millions of people across 1100+ cities in 48 countries.\nDevelop your professional skills with access to mentoring, career consulting, and learning programs.\nCollaborate with teams around the world and gain international experience through our Global Talent Exchange Program.\nEngage in company-wide challenges, awards, sports activities, employee-led social impact and volunteering projects.\nWork alongside people who take initiative, speak openly, and challenge themselves to grow.\nImprove your language skills through co-financed courses and internal speaking clubs.\n\nPlease note: final benefits may vary by location.
