They participate in all phases of product development, including design, specification, implementation, testing, building, deployment, documentation, support, and maintenance. This role may be required to interact with customers to troubleshoot products or obtain requirements.\nNote: This is a full-time, hybrid position with regular in-office collaboration, typically two days per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We're seeking candidates located in or near Sacramento, El Dorado, Placer, Yolo, or Alameda Counties who can commute to our Folsom, CA office.\nResponsibilities\nIndependently responsible for the entire lifecycle of projects or features including engineering design, development, and deployment\n\nImproving code structure and architecture in service of testability and maintainability\n\nWriting, co-writing, and reviewing design documentation\n\nMaintaining high proficiency in one or more technical areas\n\nPrioritizing and valuing unowned or undesirable work that enables the team to move faster\n\nEnsuring work meets quality standard\n\nWorking with their team and adjacent teams to solve problems\n\nEscalating problems that have wider scope\n\nAssisting and teaching other engineers on an individual basis\n\nCompleting thoughtful and constructive code reviews in a timely manner\n\nResponsible for one or more product areas or other IC leadership role (Product Lead, Scrum Master)\n\nRequirements\n Required:\n3-5 years of software engineering or software development experience, preferably in a related field\n\nA comprehensive understanding of computer science concepts and ability to apply expertise in object-oriented design, multi-threaded architecture, data structures, algorithms, and cybersecurity\n\nHands-on programming experience using relevant languages (Java and/or Typescript)\n\nExperience using relevant tool suites.
